The GV 70 is a beautiful car with tons of features. However, the number of high tech features and the number of ways to access each feature make it difficult to learn all the ways. The feature that I loved in my former car was the "auto lock" . The car automatically locked when I walked away. I can't count the number of times that I have failed to lock my GV 70 because I either forgot to press the lock button on the door handle, or I pressed it and it didn't lock the door (happens frequently!). Also, if it hadn't locked, when I approach the car, it locks when I am trying to open the door and forces me to wait until it unlocks again. GPS is not too reliable so I use Car Play more than I want. Another annoying quirk is that when I use Car Play for driving directions, the car decides to play music from my phone instead of the radio and I have to manually hit the radio button to listen to what I want to listen to. It does that when I am using my phone to check a social media App. When backing out of a parking space and getting close to an object, my car locks stopped to prevent me hitting the object. This happens when I am not that close to the object and won't allow me to override it - dangerous! I also think that the ride is bumpy. I have the 21" wheels, so low profile tires. I'm sure that is part of the problem, but I just think it is a bit of a rough ride. Finally, I hear outside (road) noise louder than my former car. I am continually checking to see that my windows are up all the way. Buying the GV 70 raised my Auto insurance over $100/month over my previous car (2019 Acura RDX).
