EASY TO LEARN & OPERATE EV

We purchased our GV60 after multiple test drives of the Tesla Y, Rivian truck, and Hyundai Q5. We loved them all bit here is why we chose the GV60. GV60 vs Tesla Model Y We found the more traditional functional controls in the GV60 to be much easier to access and operate than Tesla’s with its functional controls substantially accessed from its large center mounted touchscreen. The GV60 also exhibited a smoother ride with a more luxurious and quieter cabin. GV60 vs Rivian Truck The interior of the Rivian truck was as luxurious as the GV60; however, the cabin was not as quiet as the GV60 cabin. It was simply not as quiet as expected with its much higher price tag. GV60 vs Hyundai Q5 The GV60 and Q5 are both build by Hyundai and use the same base. However, the Q5 simply could not compete with the luxurious and quiet interior or the beautiful exterior of the GV60. We ultimately agreed that the GV60 was the best choice for our first electric vehicle. It had everything we expected and more. After driving it for more that 25,000 miles we still agree that we made the right choice.

overall an excellent fun car to drive.

Fun to drive, quiete, excellent acceleration. couple of concerns. The tech, particularly Apple Play connection can be iffy at times. Also I leased the single motor long range version because I frequently drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, and it was the only model available anyhow. The range is a bit inadequate , with few chargers near the area of LA I visit. The other issue is for a premium car the sound system isn't particularly up to par.

My beautiful Genesis GV60 with several minor issues

A true pleasure to drive

This provides a safe and efficient way to drive. I have received several compliments on the exterior looks and heard enthusiastic reactions when I have shown others the interior. I use this for all neighborhood travels and day trips throughout Central Florida.

Great Car but could be better!!

I enjoy my GV60. I like the size, the look inside and out and enjoy driving the car. However, the technology is VERY confusing with layers and layers of options its hard to get to the simple changes you want to make. I don't like the home screen...its boring and not exciting. The layers and layers of options are way toooooo much. It all needs to be simplified and easy to get too. Sometimes the car does things or I hit something by accident and I don't know where its coming from. The mouse on the steering wheels needs to be moved to the other side so I don't keep hitting it. I would consider myself someone who can work well with technology but this car is way too much and exhausting to figure out how to make changes. We don't need that many options to drive the car. I have almost turned off all the options because its WAY to much. Also the silver dashboard with the blue lighting on the buttons is VERY hard to read. Even with glasses its not very clear. I would change that to light up properly. The icons are hard to understand. When I have all the doors unlocked I can't open the charger unless I open one of the doors. The button for the trunk should not be a hold button...just a simple press. Also in my area they have close 3 Genesis dealerships leaving only one to service hundreds of miles. I would not recommend the car based on that alone. To hard to get car looked at.

An Outstanding & Unique EV

There is literally nothing like it on the road around me. I have seen 3 of them in total since I ordered, received and driving it (8 months). Unlike a Tesla which I see 10-15 every day! I wanted something that not many people have or are likely to see. My vehicle rides so much better than my brother's Tesla. The interior of his is stark and clinical. Mine has a luxury vehicle worthy interior. I also like the redundant controls of my vehicle. There are sometimes 3 different ways to perform a task from using the touchscreen, a physical button and the rotary controller. I researched this vehicle for 2 years before I leased it. It has so many options and features that are lacking on other EVs. It has more than enough power and I can get around 270 miles per charge. Of course that figure will drop during the Winter months. The technology while impressive can't match that of a Tesla. Also, the vehicle is quite expensive which is one of the reasons I decided to lease it.

Smooth, comfortable, luxurious ride

The GV60 is like riding on a pillow. Really comfortable, quiet, and feature rich. My only complaint is the stereo doesn't sound very good.
