Great vehicle overall with small issues

Awesome EV overall, some issues hold it back. I'll focus on the negatives since the positives are covered at length in other reviews. 1. No wireless Android auto/apple carplay. 2. Phone mapping systems not integrated with HUD for driving directions. 3. Speaker quality is poor. 4. Relatively poor range compared to competitors. 5. Navigation data is poor relative to eg Google maps. 6. Seat smart posture resets every time vehicle is started (software bug). 7. I-pedal (one pedal driving) resets every time vehicle is started (software bug). 8. No keyless way to lock the doors, so have to either use key fob or app to lock the doors. Very annoying design. 9. No frunk? Not even sure how to open / access hood. 10. Road noise is somewhat excessive at higher speeds. 11. Dealer experience is poor and not reflective of the premium price/brand (basically Hyundai dealers with Hyundai mindsets). 12. Website doesn't even work properly to send in support tickets etc. 13. Despite higher price than GV70, lower level of luxury. 14. All dealers were charging above MSRP

Great car

Amazing electric car is this Genesis GV60. The power modes are so convenient while driving on highways and the style is on a different level all together. Phenomenal interface and design both outside and inside. Im so happy about my GV 60. Range is nice too at 248 fully charged.

Mostly great EV

Overall, I like my GV60, but wish it had a lot better range. No matter how I drive, I can’t get more than 200 miles of range. Very disappointed with that. Definitely needs wireless CarPlay. Wireless charge pad is useless if I have to have my phone plugged in for CarPlay. I wish the console design was better (USB-c plugs are literally floor level. Also, all that open space under the console could have been better used IN the console. Reaching under it is not easy. Not easy to reach. Charge port should be on left rear for easier access.

The overall quality, style, and functionality of the vehicle is very good. I've found it performs well, handles well, and brakes well. The interior features provide a nice degree of comfort and convenience. The vehicles overall features are impressively intuitive and are easy to use.

Great car!

There’s so much to love about the GV60! The ride is smooth and quiet (except at high speeds). The 0-60 experience is mind blowing. The sound system is great. Charges very quickly. That being said, I wish it had wireless apple car play and a bit more battery range. Other than that, you won’t find a more luxurious, enjoyable and technologically advanced car for the money.

GV 60 vs Tesla Model Y

We were shopping a Y to replace leased model 3 - seemed that was the way to go then tried the GV 60 - way more value and more comfort and features. Range is not as good but for primarily a city car it fit the bill - we will try it on a shorter trip and see how we fare with the Electrify america sites

Luxury CUV experience

GV60 is a luxury EV with many high quality to point out. I highly recommend GV60 to anyone who is in the EV market. GV60 experience has bought joy to my daily driving and pleasure whenever I get in the driver seats. I’m looking forward to explore many features GV60 has.

Nicer than Tesla

The GV60 is a beautiful looking car, the rims and flat white paint are striking. The PerfectHealth romance version is extremely fast. In general, the car handles like a sports suv, but rides great. The stereo is a huge disappointment, but I love everything else about it. And an extra 100 mile range wouldn’t hurt.

2023 Advanced - Best Value for a new EV

It was a pleasant surprise to have the 2023 Genesis GV60 as an option in 2022. For the build quality, standard features, convenience features and safety features one would be hard pressed to find a better market available choice at the $60k price point. My guiding rule of thumb as a new BEV owner, OTA updates are fine to add/fix things but there cannot be a compromise on build quality as there is no OTA for that. We have over 6,000 miles and its been great and fun to drive. We are a family of 4 so we are able to make this work with some planning for trips.

Best ev for your money!

I fell in love with this car first because of the cool rotating sphere but there js just so much to this car. It's super fun to drive yet extremely safe. Love that Genesis went ev and that this was their first model out. Excellent ev and totally worth every hard earned penny!

GV60 is awesome!

Beautifully styled car that’s not only comfortable but has great handling and pick up. Seats are comfortable for everyday driving and longer road trips. Range is pretty true to estimates so far (only had the car for 3 weeks). Favorite feature is facial recognition to lock and unlock the car.

Almost perfect!

Spectacular in every way EXCEPT for the absence of... Wireless Apple Car Play, front cross traffic alerts, smart charge "plug in and go" capability, and support for Highway Driving Assistant 2. OTA updates to fix all would make it the BEST CAR EVER!

Performance, quality, reliability, warranty

800 volt battery architecture with 18 minute recharge time sets the Genesis/Hyundai/Kia platform apart. Even though most charging happens at home, when you need to travel, its a gamechanger. 10 year drivetrain warranty and lower rate of problems Vs competition with new technology steered me towards the Genesis, add great looks and the only problem then was getting one. 3,000 miles in including a cross country trip collecting it and it doesn't disappoint.

Beautiful, luxurious car with lots of features and smooth ride

This is my first electric car and I am more than happy with the purchase. Car feels very luxurious and high end, lots of great features, ride is smooth and quiet, and love the overall look. Have gotten a lot of compliments on the car. The heads up display is really nice, navigation system is ok - seems to not be as accurate as google maps, lots of safety features (sometimes too many warning beeps that need getting used to). Lots of ways to use the car without the key fob which is nice although fingerprint recognition is a bit finicky and not reliable. Overall, a great car and would highly recommend!

No regrets!

GV60 was not even in my radar when shopping for EVs. Went to the dealership to test drive a Hyundai Ioniq 5 but they didn’t have any. Looked around & found the GV60. After test driving it & just learning about all the bells & whistles, I knew this was the car for me. Not something I would use for long travel but for the commute to work & running errands, it’s all I need. Super comfortable & very smooth ride. Amazing car & I have been recommending it to all my friends & family.

Fun to drive. Gorgeous car. Wonderful tech included. It has exceeded our expectations. Only negative I can think of is that it doesn't have HDA 2. For the price of thr gv60, HDA should have been included. Other than that, my husband and I are very happy with our vehicle.

GV60......AMAZING.

My first EV , and I love it. Everything about the Genesis GV60 is superlative. Quirky styling sets it apart , build quality as good as it gets , interior design and finish is as good as MB , Bentley , Ferrari, etc. And I have had a few of those... Performance is outstanding, as is comfort , the car is a pleasure to drive, Cannot wait for some snow to check out the snow mode ! And I have yet to use the boost button to scare off a Porsche or two at a stoplight...

A Breed Apart

A great EV, for the value of the money. Beautiful clamshell styling, with an attractive Front Fascia. The looks and the interior feels a notch above the other EV's in terms of quality and comfort. But he chrome-framed ‘V’ in the rear D pillar is unusual and a little jarring. A large monolithic display screen that serves as both gauge cluster and infotainment system . A novel crystal sphere that glows to match the ambient light settings. Press the start button, it rotates to reveal itself when the SUV is powered up . Tons of features like a special ‘Drift mode’ and e-ASD (Active sound Design) that makes it playful and fun to drive.
