Great vehicles - HORRIBLE support from corporate and dealerships
I purchased a 2023 Genesis G90 in September 2022, and it is the most advanced and quite honestly best vehicle I have ever bought. HOWEVER, I would never recommend this or any other Genesis vehicle for anyone looking for a luxury vehicle. Genesis Motor America has no concern for their customers once they have their money. They leave faulty software in their vehicles and refuse to fix it, claiming they never intended the cars to have the features they accidentally deactivated with the faulty software. Do NOT believe their advertising - what they call a "luxury experience" is total apathy and horrible service from their corporate offices and the vast majority of their dealerships. For anyone considering the purchase of one of these vehicles, PLEASE go to the Genesis Owners forums and Genesis Owners Facebook pages and see the horror stories that owner after owner has experienced. When you look at Google and Yelp reviews, do not be misled by the 5 star reviews. You will find that almost all of them refer to the buying experience. Genesis does have that down - they do a nice job of marketing and sales. On the other hand, you will find that all of the 1 and 2 star reviews are from people who have owned the vehicles for 6 months or more and have had any interface with Genesis Corporate or a Genesis Dealer. It is as simple as this - Genesis wins many awards for the top-notch vehicles they manufacture, and they deserve it. Can you imagine just how bad the after-sale service has to be for them to rank DEAD LAST in Customer Satisfaction in the 2023 JD Power Customer Satisfaction Ranking when they have such good cars? Yes, it is that bad. Please - do your research before you buy and learn why so many people regret buying a Genesis vehicle before you make the same mistake.
