great buy!

previous cars were Japanese or German. Genesis build quality and overall value beets them hands down, and the dealer experience is far superior, especially compared to the Germans, who act like they're doing you a favor taking your money. I love the concierge service and general attitude of my Genesis dealership

When seeking a stylish sedan that is affordable, dependable, and luxurious, the 2023 Genesis G80 3.5T Sport Prestige fits the bill. The car drives like a dream, is quiet, spacious, handsome, and has all the bells and whistles, safety fears, and reliability a consumer expects and needs. This purchase wasn't on a whim. It was after much research, test driving, and discussion on other luxury brands to meet my needs. I didn't have to pay a king's ransom of competing luxury brands that made the purchase affordable. Almost Perfect

A truly excellent automobile taking on the best from the US, Germany, and Japan. Absolute best value given features and price. Excellent luxury look and high quality materials throughout. Initial setup can be a little much but user controls are very straightforward thereafter. Genesis must work a little on delivered quality and quite a bit on dealer service performance to truly win the race!

Great value for your money

Genesis is one of the best kept secrets of the auto world. They give you many extras for your money and the styling is fantastic. Fit and finish is good and competes with all of the other luxury brands. Large information screen and free navigation updates from Genesis.

Important issues Addressed

Replacing a 2018 genesis with 2023 one. Love to lack of road noise in new car. Also visibility better around side mirrors. Love the styling of the exterior. Inside is sleek and modern style. Feel like I am driving a futuristic car. There are no features Genesis has overlooked!

Excellent car

This is my 3rd G80 (2015, 2018, 2023) and each year gets better and better. Huge leap with the 2023 from the 2018 model. Great design, and there is so much tech I haven't had a chance to learn everything yet. In my opinion the Sport Prestige package is worth the extra money. I've only had the car for 10 days, so there is still a lot to explore.

Safety

I owned a 2015 Genesis which was a great car. the new Genesis G80 has so many more safety features. it holds the road so well I could tell the difference when going around all the round abouts where I live. I love the exterior look and the interior is also very impressive. Also, the car has a very high crash rating which is a very important feature for me.

Genesis G80 3.5 T AWD

Owned a 2013 Genesis and did an exorbitant amount of research before I purchased it new and did the same amount of research before purchasing the G80. Along with the research and test was enough to purchase it, on the same day as the test drive. Its design and styling turn a lot of heads and gets numerous positive comments and thumbs up when we pass by. In the short time I have owned it lives up to all the positive research comments I have reviewed, prior to test drive and purchase.

G80 AWD

So far great car. Need to learn all features Dealership needs to stop forcing to buy extra warranties for the car while it is under warranty. Dealership shall offer more equipment to the car like a trunk tray plastic to avoid liquids into carpet. They should offer it free if possible as the car price is more than reported to DMV.

The Genesis G80 is the most sporty luxurious car I have ever owned. The attention to details on the inside and out are well done. The car drives very smoothly and handles great even in the rain. The backseat feels just as luxurious as the front. I am beyond happy with my purchase.

Great cars

This is a great car if you can find one. I am a 3 time Genesis G80 customer who has tracked 4 dealerships for 8 months before l finally found a car l would pay over 68000 for. I trade off cars every three years so l promise you..great car or not if the selection process is this poor in 2026 l will be buying a Lexus

Outstanding performance, appearance, reliability

This is the third Genesis- 2009, 2015, and now the 2023. They have had a history of all being very reliable, excellent performers, comfortable, attractive vehicles. Each Genesis has been more refined, and a pleasure to drive and own. Lakeland Genesis has been excellent at servicing these vehicles.

2023 G80

2023 G80, fourth G80 I have owned. Drives beautifully; looks sharp. A different car than the first three. New body style, engine, transmission and technology. Overall, I enjoy the car. Two items that I find a bit frustrating. 1) The technology stack with warnings and alarms is to sensitive and prevalent. There are bells and sings and outplayed alerts ringing frequently. I prefer not to have bells going off in a car when the temperature drops 2 degree and I don’t like front end sensors alerting when I’m in reverse. 2) My vehicle is a problem with snow, whether it’s a thin layer of snow on a highway or snow falling from the sky. First, the air dam quickly accumulates snow, I think it’s the honey comb air dam design. It builds up in a few minutes then works it’s way up to the hood and spreads across the entire nose. Happens in a few on the highway. The snow also covers sensors. Creating either false alarms or technology deactivation. Other than the snow issue and the alarms, best driving car I have ever owned, the suspension is incredible.
