comfortable, drives well and not overly complex
We have a 2023 Ford Ranger Tremor as a work field vehicle to travel the rough road, terrain and varied weather conditions in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is a easy to drive comfortable and probably as simple a truck you can get these days that is not full of electronics, unneeded options and bells and whistles We haven't tested the full off road capabilities of the truck yet. I like that the truck still has an old style emergency brake lever in the center console, still feels comfortable even for my 6 foot 1 inch body and has good power and road manners/ handling. The hill descent control really helps to control speed on rough roads and terrain. I don't like that most controls other than the gear shifting, drive controls and four wheel drive controls are all done through the touch screen, for example it is hard and distracting to try to adjust climate controls while driving using a touch screen with no tactile feedback knobs or levers would give where you have to look at the screen and away from the road.
