Beautiful, convenient, roomy, comfortable

Bought AWD LTD in 2005 as new. Two years in PR and brought it over to Finland, 4 wheel drive truly proved it's worth. Kids grew up comfortably at the backseats. Just traded it in after 19 years and 172000km, (108000miles). Minor flaws; AWD oil pump, front suspension, sun roof leak, nothing major - great vehicle, unfortunately family grew out of it. I hope the new owner enjoys.

Great full size sedan.

My current Ford Five hundred is a 2005 model. I would purchase another one if they were still being manufactured. No major repairs, just tires, oil change and battery. Great vehicle. This model saved my life. I was in an accident, hit by another car and suffered only minor injuries..

Oldie but goodie

I've got a 2005 Ford F150 4x4 extended cab truck with 257000 miles on it. The 5.4 Triton is still a strong engine. I've had to do some repairs to the truck but she is good for another 250000 miles. Ford definitely builds a tough truck

Girls love trucks too

I bought this truck new and have driven it for 20 years. I love it and will get another when the time is right. It has been dependable and reliable. My teen boys actually bought the same truck 15 years later. So it has become a family favorite.

Excellent car

As I wrote before, this was my first American-made car having lived in Germany for 40 years. I never had a more reliable car than my Ford 500. Sadly, it will be time soon to part with it since it does have some old age aches and pains. It has been the best car I ever owned (that includes my cars in Germany - an Audi, a Mercedes and several VW's).

Very satisfied with my f150

Bought new 18 years ago and have minimal repairs in that time, drove it to Colorado twice and never had any issues have only replaced tires exhaust and battery when it’s time for a new replacement it will be another F 150.

Keeps running

After a rocky couple of years, getting computer issues worked out on a truck that I bought specifically because it was as basic as they come. I thought nothing electronic would save me from having computer headaches. Now it runs great, and we haven’t had any issues in the last 10 years

A great car

My Ford 500 is a 2005 model and is my first American car. I spent 40 years in Germany and for obvious reasons I always drove German cars which are so reliable - I never had a break-down or flat tire, driving the German Autobahn every day to work. This Ford has been beyond my expectations and is the best and most reliable car I ever drove. I might add, I don't drive as much anymore since I moved back to Brownsville. In Germany I drove at least 50 miles round-trip every day to work through horrible weather (snow, ice and fog) in the winter time.. Soon it will be time to get another American car and I hope I have as much luck with the next one as I have with this car. The next one will be my last car since I'm not getting any younger!!

Love my Ford truck !

I have owned this F 150 since Jan 2010. When I bought it there were 8800 miles on it. The odometer just tripped 201K. I have really used this truck hauling furniture, pulling my John boat, etc. I have no complaints.

2005 F150 super crew 4x4

I bought this truck new with 7 miles on it. It now has 143,000 miles. I have had very little trouble with it. No major breakdowns. I do believe I will get another 143,000 miles out of it. I am very happy with my F-150 and would buy another one except I might go with the Shelby F150 4x4.

I LOVE my Truck!

See above and below. Recommend getting a certified used vehicle like this from a reputanle dealer. Make sure it has not been abused or wrecked and that it smells right inside and is clean. I got lucky finding this truck in this condition at Mullinax Ford Apopka and they were great!

Great truck

I’ve had my Ford F-150 since 2008 and it has been a great truck, going on 190,000 miles and just made a trip from Louisiana to Colorado pulling a trailer and did great, engine me is still strong and I plan on keeping it for a while.

Reliable truck

I have owned this F-150 for about two years. I purchased it with about 153,000 miles on it and I’m now up to 168,000. Have had zero issues since I’ve owned it-routine maintenance only. Four wheel drive works very well and despite its size it’s pretty easy to drive and maneuver. Have heard nothing but the best from other F-150 owners as well. Features get a seven on the below scale as it’s older so to get any modern phone functionality and sound I had to upgrade the stereo. Other than that stock features are great (power seats, leather, etc).

Good truck

I would buy this truck again;but not a new one because of the price. I would purchase another use one. The truck is reliable and is especially good for hauling as well. I will buy the same truck again with a little more additional amenities.

Bought it used, priced lower than other brands, and is a full size 4 door pickup that has been great for home improvement chores and some fun activities outdoors. Even though the model had some backslash for having aluminum engine it seems like good mechanics can work their way around its flaws.

I love my truck, but...

I love my truck. It's beautiful, spacious, and fun. But I am starting to get a ticking noise now and the cam phasers problem in this generation of f150s seems like it is starting to hit my truck now, which will mean more money. So I may be looking for something else before long.

Love my truk

I bought this truck new in 2005...I love it, I love the way it drives. It is like having a luxury vehicle that does all the hard work. I wish I could afford to get a new one but maybe one day. For now, this truck is my baby...lol

Worst truck ever built

Stick to Chevy don’t buy ford if I could leave zero stars I would it was a problem from minute I got it trans went out at 85k miles so there went $4k then everything else started going out too will never buy another ford

Love hate relationship

I love my truck. It's powerful, fun to drive and gets me where i want to go. The variable control timing is absolute shit and seemingly impossible to fix. It's a bitch to work on for anything. Great when working, nightmare when there are problems.
