Nice Car, but....
I bought the CTS Performance in 2010. No, it's not the V model, but the 3.6 with the "button" shifters on the steering wheel. It's a nice car, and the air conditioned seats are very, very nice in the summer. But...who designed the climate control set-up? What about a 3-nob basic rotating set-up that allows you to get feed back without looking down below the dash to hunt for buttons that are spread in a seemingly random fashion. I suppose they think you'll put it on AUTO and never change it. The car is heavy and the transmission is not a double-clutch so it relies on the torque converter to lock up during downshifts, which is not the same as dropping down a gear or two and letting the clutch back in. It's a nice touring car, very comfortable, but not really a sport sedan. I'm thinking the ATS-V might be nice, but I also think Cadillac are driving the price into the national debt category. I much preferred my Subaru STi, and still regret getting rid of it.
