Have experienced parasitic battery drain in 12V aux batteery which eventually caused the car to not start due to low voltage. After charging and battery not holding charge, car would not start at all unless I jumped the battery with a jump battery. Rte 1 purchased the battery in Feb 2022 and installed it and it worked fine for a while. I was not driving the car but only short trips every 2 or three days. The parasitic drain was back and for the past year I have been jumping the car with the jump box to get it started. I took the car to Rte 1 to see if they could get a pro-rated refund from the Toyota dealer on a battery that was less than 3 years old. No deal. Toyota told them this very expensive battery had only a 1-year guarantee. So-o-o, I had to replace it with another expensivve battery (with no guarantee of it lasting more than 2-1/2 yrs) Needless to say, I will not purchase another Hybrid vehicle, unless a gun is held to my head. Toyota won't do anything about the parasitic battery drain (witch I was not aware of in this Camry when I bought it new). Mark at Rte 1 did the best he could do with an outsourced batteery from Toyota with only a 1-yr guarantee (and no alternative battery appears available).
