It is imperative, that a customer is informed if they are being given off market parts or rebuilt parts , to arbitrarily order rebuilt parts , without the customer’s / consumer knowledge is unethical.
I brought my concern to Aaron, the service manager,. Aaron’s response was dismissive and defensive , evident of poor service and unethical practices. Aaron expressed no interest in regaining my trust or reassurance as customer. He reprimanded the service personnel, but said to me “ what do you want me to do, we corrected the mistake.’ When I added and said I can’t help to wonder if this only “some” customers are treated in this manner- Aaron’s rebuttal was “ that’s speculation.”
As a person of color Aaron’s response was not only disrespectful but confirming all the inequitable interactions that I have witnessed at this location.
Unfortunately, this was a missed opportunity for this dealership to correct a wrong .
