I have a 2008 Passat Wagon and love it. I only put regular gas in it, and when driving it is a dream. It goes very fast when it needs to and has kept me out of trouble a couple of times, due to stupid drivers passing when they should not!!

A great car! I live in Canada, and bought this car used in the US. I would import it to Canada except for the red tape involved. It has served me well, using regular gas instead of premium, and the Turbo feature is wonderful.

143+ thousand miles, still running

I purchased it used with 100 miles on it. Buying used is always a gamble. This was my 2nd Passat Wagon. The other was a 2005. Big improvement difference in 3 years. Some shops consider it similar to Audi. It has all the bells and whistles and this is 11 years old. I'm not sure they even make a wagon any more. Everyone is buying a SUV. If you're looking at buying a Passat Wagon I highly recommend it.

Good Wagon, bad gas mileage,expensive repairs.

This vehicle has been reliable but has two drawbacks. It requires Premium Fuel and gets terrible gas mileage. It has required a few repairs that were very expensive as compared to domestic brands. On the upside, it is probably the best looking Wagon available ( similar to the 2019 Golf Wagon in appearance)
