Crappy

Since I got this car it has been nothing but an aggravation. Spent more times at the mechanic then on the road. Replaced throttle body TWICE! , replaced the epc and if I got this right replaced 2 coil overs?? Not sure if I got the terminology right…Will never buy another vw gti.??

Fun, great tune ability, will require servicing

This still has the troublesome old chain tensioner. Engine runs dirty You must keep up with synthetic oil changes every 5k miles! There are lots of aftermarket parts for this motor Mine a stage 2 ,huss is 273 hp, with intake, hiflo exhaust, and chip time. Seats could be better, headliner will sag.,silly extraneous piping for turbo sound device.( Can be removed) On eof.the Best versions of the GTI.
