It's fun, but no cigar.
I wanted a VW EOS when they first came out. I finally got one used, and I always have fun driving it with the top up or down. However, like so many German things, it's temperamental and demanding. All sorts of little issues have cropped up over the past 5 years, and some are outrageously expensive to fix. As a corporation, I would never buy from Volkswagen again; and certainly not from Harmony VW in Asheville, which is the worst car dealership I've ever dealt with in the 54 years since I got my driver's license.
Overall, I give the EOS a C+.
