Excellent Grand Touring Car

IMHO, one would be hard pressed to find a better value Grand Tourer in the marketplace. It’s comfortable, precise handling, (AMG sports package), great power/weight ratio and Merc reliable. I enjoy driving it equally to my 911, although they are different focused cars. I’ve always enjoyed top-down driving but hated the fabric tops. The SLK has a folding hard top that transforms your open top roadster into a coupe at the touch of a button. Quieter and more secure than a rag-top. All around great Sports/Touring car for bargain money.

Beautiful, reliable car,

I’ve had the car for 11 yrs, have received very nice compliments about it’s sleek look. I drive it mainly for pleasure so it has only 52,000 miles so far. It’s quick but very comfortable and stable like a big car. It has had a few minor issues which were easily fixed. Main problem is that the convertible, retractable roof has become inoperable, apparently due to a malfunctioning motor, which is too expensive to replace for the very few times that I have driven with the top down.

Love my little summer car, 2007 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class

This is the second SLK-Class Mercedes that I've had--bought it pre-owned and have driven it for ten years, same as the previous one that I owned! Nothing ever goes wrong mechanically--just replace the usual: tires, battery, brakes--no biggie at all! Love the ease of retracting the top--roomy trunk for a small car! And this 350 engine has plenty of get-up-and-go!! Very sharp looking!!
