A great economical car

I have owned my 2002 Mazda Protege since 2008. It is the best car I've ever driven and has never given me any major issues. It's easy on the gas and keeps going mile after mile. It's now 20 years old and still running strong.

Great little car

If I had to replace this car, it would be another Mazda. I have never had an accident. The damage to front and the bumper where there when I bought it and could never afford ti get the work done.

We love our Mazda Protoge

I bought mine in 2000 and my mom at age 85 wanted one of her own. She got the identical model and color in 2002. We still have both with one at 180,000 and the other at 195,000. My daughter does not want to buy another car because she loves the size and functionality of the Mazda Protoge. She plans to toggle between both old cars to make them both last longer--one has air conditioning and the other doesn't!!! It's such a shame that Mazda no longer makes the Protoge. In 2014, I had to buy a Mazda 3 to fulfill my dream of owning another Mazda.
