Reliable around town not for long hauls

Bought used w/low miles from a dealer 2 years ago. So far it has been reliable and we give it TLC and recommended maintenance. We get great mileage (26 city, 32 hwy) and have only had to replace a headlamp and wiper blades. The ride is average with suspension around tight turns and curved mountain roads requiring leaning for passengers. Seats 7 with comfort level around an 8 out of 10 front seats and second row but 4-5 out of 10 for third row. Seating in 3rd row requires entry through the back crawling on hands and knees to be seated. Minimal comfort on trips longer than 2 hours. So grandkids moan and groan about who has to sit in the back. With back row laid flat the cargo space is generous with enough room for 4 26-28” suitcases and an oversized cooler, blankets, pillows, toys,..leaving the seating area free of cargo. You see hundreds on the road most of them grey. I recommend it to buyers on a budget who forego comfort and luxury for reliable transportation. I would not rate it fun to drive but then I spent the last 20 years behind the wheel of a sport car.

Kia Sorento

I bought a new Sorento in 2007 and it is still running great. My daughter now drives it. I bought a new 2020 Sorento and love it. Such a nice ride.

Impressed Amazing car for the price !!

The 2020 Sorento is a very a comfortable ride Tight dimensions aid maneuverability Quiet cabin and User-friendly infotainment. The seating configuration is 2-3-2, with the 3rd row being mostly for kids. The 2nd and 3rd rows fold flat for hauling. Great room for the first and second rows. At 6'1", if I set the driver's seat to my liking (nearly all the way back), I can comfortably sit behind it in the 2nd row. I do wish there was a bit more vertical space for cargo, and more space behind the cramped 3rd row. That said, there's nothing in the market at $27k with as much room. The 290hp V6 is plenty powerful and pretty smooth, and it gets an average between 25-30mpg, depending on whether I'm leaning more or less on highway miles.

Our new 2020 Kia Sorento is amazing. It is quick to respond in traffic, drives smooth and quiet and the color is beautiful. Love the sensors that surround the exterior to protect every angle of the car and objects (people crossing) close to it. The safety features are superior including all the airbags and side curtains. The heated front seats and adjustability make it comfortable and easy for each individual drivers comfort. I would have liked to had a factory installed sunroof (which was not an option on the showroom model) but we do have the option to have one added. Overall, this is an outstanding vehicle,

Great little car

Great car, more made in the USA then the "Big 3", hard to pay more for a car then I did for a house but "inflation and property taxes" are worse but that's life. Probably the last new car we'll buy.
