Good but not great
With 112,000 miles on it, my Rio has been reliable, though it is starting to consume a few quarts of oil between oil changes. It drives well, but the seating position is very low - especially for the front passenger that has no height adjustment like the driver has. The paint has held up well being parked outside in the SoCal sun except for the mirror caps and Kia logo. Acceleration, braking, and cornering are adequate, but the suspension lacks travel and large bumps and potholes register harshly. The interior has been durable and held up to abuse well and materials are better than other cars in the subcompact economy class.
