Beautiful Grandson of the XKE

I have been a Jaguar lover since I was 16 stealing my dad’s 1967 XKE. I have personally owned three Jaguars, 2 XJ6s and my 2002 XK8. You can see the graceful lines of the E Type in the 8. It has one of the nicest convertible tops I’ve seen on any car. The motor and transmission, as well as the body frame are shared with Ford’s Thunderbird and the Aston-Martin making the car much more dependable than some earlier Jaguars are thiught to be. You live in a car’s interior and the 8’s interior, almost identical to the XJ’s, is comfortable and beautiful with tasteful gauges and rich leather seats that wear extremely well.

Jaguar XKR

I have owned my 2002 XKR convertible for 7 years now. There have been very few repairs needed through the years a leaking O ring and sending unit for the tank. That is all. Then only regular maintenance. I really like the styling and design on these XKRs. It is the best interpretation since the E typeBuild quality is good with good fitting and gaps. Fun to drive and good power and handling thanks to the twin super chargers and Jaguars Active Technology suspension CATS. It is a good looking luxury subtle sports car.

A true classic!

Just look at this car! It is bound to be a true classic one day. With the looks that rivals Ferrari Daytona, how can it not. I know, there are too many XK8 to compare it to a Ferrari. I don't care, I stand by my assessment. Time will tell who is right!
