My Sonata on the Road!

I had a Lexus for 13 years and when it was totaled I couldn't afford another one. My husband and I shopped all we could afford and I chose the Sonata Hyundai. My sister has a Genesis. We travelled down south last July and we had to drive the Sonata because our van was not doing it that year. The trip was a total success. The car drove absolutely beautiful on the road! The gas mileage was great and we had a great time driving it. We went to Dallas. We spent 3 days with our son and then on the Memphis, TN. We stayed 4 to 5 days and went back to Dallas. With one to two more days there we arrived home safely and tired! But the trip was worth it in the Sonata!! I tell people I am training my Sonata to drive like a Lexus! It has not let me down!!! Thanks for a great car. I have all the amenities I had on the Lexus and more!

Excellent vehicle, I love everything about my experience with the leasing thru to the ride and every day usage. I Will absolutely go back to this same salesperson and dealership to negotiate a similar deal on a newer model of sonata at the end of this lease negotiation hopefully at a lower rate and monthly note.

Sensor issues 2018

Great vehicle when comes to safety and technology upgrades (hand free, emergency sensor braking and lane monitoring). Most certainly fuel economical. Biggest down side has been the NOC sensor failure and issues. Second sonata I’ve purchased new in last 5 years and would except that the issue wouldn’t happen more than once.

Pretty much pleased with the vehicle However I find the seat to be Extremely Uncomfortable with the Lack of cushioning and over sized wings sticking up from the bottom part of the seat. So I enquire about maybe trading out (even if i had to PAY a Fee) with one (Maybe from "Limited" Model instead of like my "Sport") which may be more comfortable. I was then shuffled to the parts counter, which this Gentleman was more then friendly. But, when he called the Factory he was told "We are not in the business of custom building cars, tell him to look in a junk yard". The parts fellow was apologetic telling me this. So my brand new car needs a junk yard seat???? So "3" layer's of cushion's later..... The Driver seat still "Suck's" and not Overly Pleased.

This is my second Sonata. I am very satisfied with the car and would highly recommend it. I was in an accident with my first Sonata and was impressed with how the car responded. It’s a safe car with a great ride.

I traded up my Elantra for a Sonata

I traded up my Elantra for a Sonata and I could not be happier! The car is comfortable, gas efficient, and quiet. The warranty is an added plus! I have had the car for 2 years now and I have not had one problem with it. I was somewhat disappointed with my Elantra, mostly because of it's size. It was uncomfortable and I felt every bump in the road. Riding in my Sonata is like being in my living room! I turn the car on, my iTunes library starts immediately, the Driver Assist tells me the condition of the tires, gas, fluids, and status of the engine. I couldn't be happier!

Mechanical Issues

I loved my 2018 Sonata but kept having the same recall issue with it and had to lemon law the car. The car drove lovely. It was spacious and had plenty of storage room on the inside of it. Extra cup holders as well as a place to store my sunglasses.

2018 Sonata SEL is a great car

very pleased overall with this car. has been low maintenance, good safety features (blind spot, backup camera, cross traffic warning). Rides and handles as expected for a relatively inexpensive sedan. very happy with the gas mileage and driving range can easily go over 500 miles. Good value overall.

Outstanding performance for the money. Roomy, easy to drive, and great mileage. I take plenty of long trips to visit my daughters and find the ride to be comfortable and non-tiring. The Sonata handles well in bad weather and the heating and A/C systems are top-notch.

Love my sonata

My sonata is great. I love the fuel economy,comfort,and reliability. Can't imagine ever owning any vehicle other than a hyundai. Fast, elegant, good consumption, planted well to the road, roomy, mine is 2.0t and it has great power. Infotainment system is great. Features like blue link which gives you opportunity to remotely operate locking or unlocking your vehicle or start the engine are great! Also feature with automatic trunk release is nice! Overall, lot of bang for buck! New model, 2020 needs to have stronger engines and that steering wheel is awful. Mine is 2018 model and it looks better than 2020 model in mine opinion.

Love my Sonata!

Had my Sonata in for repair work for a week and a half (no fault of the vehicle). I LOVE my little car and could not wait to get it back. I love how it drives, all the great features it comes with and especially love all the safety features! The repair looked beautiful too!

Outstanding Car that I never thought I’d own

I always viewed Hyundai as a cheap car. But let me tell you, I was so wrong! This car is great! I was able to get upgrades I never thought I’d have like heated seats and an audio systems with phone integration. Overall this car has blown me away. The one and only negative I have is the sound of the horn. But I don’t get road rage that often so I hardly hear it. Great car, great price, great dealership.
