2026 palisade

The vehicle is very comfortable, luxurious and quiet. It has one significant flaw. The V6 is simply underpowered for such a heavy vehicle. It accelerates so slowly I generally run it in sport mode to try to improve the performance. The lack of torque is very apparent.

Palisade continues with value and comfort for the money

The vehicle has been good with me with the exception of the blind spot cameras didn't work intermittent! The dealership couldn't find the problem but reset the system! Seems to be fine now! To be excepted for a new platform!! The sluggish pick up is found when the vehicle is new but it's fine after it's broken in!

Beautiful, quiet, loaded with safety

It is beautiful and rides very comfortably. Unbelievably driver personalization options. Superb driver assistance and safety are standard. Only issue is that it seems underpowered unless you select the sport option

Smooth and quiet ride

Love how this car rides. Very smooth and quiet. It looks so luxurious in the interior. The technology is great as well. Built in dashcam sure comes in handy as well.

Software bugs, slow acceleration and gas mileage

Love my 2026 Calligraphy Palisade, white with tan leather interiors and big rims are just three things I love about it. But lets talk about the software bugs, not many but are annoying. The screen at times goes blank on random activity, I could be looking at the map (waze) and going to another app will blank the map and you’ll have to turn the vehicle off and on again to get it to show the content of the map. Or some times the back seats wont respond to moving up or down, or if it rains the computer will tell you that the sensors are not working. This last one, once it stop raining then it will get back to normal. Acceleration- well it’s slow, like very slow. Make sure when getting into a highway you have time and space to let the Prius oh sorry the Palisade to get up to the safe speed to enter the highway. Gas mileage- weekly fill ups, forget about every 10-15 days, this is weekly every 6 days. -PARTS: ok so I needed to pull a small trailer and the connector for the trailer brake lights is a different connector and it is not available in the US. Tried another connector and it didn’t work. A rock cracked my windshield three days ago, made my claim through the insurance, safelight came to help but the windshield was not available and they don't have the software to recalibrate the cameras and sensors. So I have to wait with a cracked windshield because the logistics for parts are not yet available!

So far all is good

Very quiet and smooth riding. Could use more low end torque, but otherwise has plenty of power. Average MPG is 22.3 and have not needed to add oil.

Lovely daily driver - has some kinks to work out in new model

There are a lot of things I love about my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Limited. It's super quiet, has amazing suspension, and is an overall joy to drive. There are a lot of little things that bother me though, but might be subjective. I don't like the center console - there's nowhere to put anything within reach except a cup. The headlights are oddly low. The display causes me to look a little low and away from the road, but probably because I am tall. Very basic, but there's no option to put a clock on the main instrument display. You can't use the garage door opener unless the car is on. Lots of little things.

Best SUV available

I drove 24 various vehicles including luxury brands like Lexus, BMW, Genesis, Audi, etc. None were as quiet and as comfortable as the new Pallisade Calligraphy.

Missing important features

I miss the automatic lock features when turning off and leaving vehicle. I have to locate remote and remember to lock it. The notification is helpful to remind me to remotely lock it. Also there should be a hand grip to assist people getting into the vehicle. It needs to be located closer to front of door. Maybe a running board would help older individuals like myself. I have had difficulty with display and or cue system. At this point I have only made short trips with the vehicle. Too early to rate some areas.

Overall great vehicle Hyundai palisade calligraphy model

I love my new vehicle, but there are a few small things. One is the gear change lever and the start button a little bit inconvenient. The transmission doesn’t seem to be as smooth as my previous 2003 Hyundai palisade calligraphy. It appears it does not quite get the same gas mileage, maybe 2 to 3 miles an hour or less although it has not been broken in yet only has 4000 miles on it. Maybe when it gets to 10,000 it will get the same mileage. I absolutely love the appearance of it. Mine is white with a very light tan interior so far so good.
