Not My Favorite

Having owned many cars, I have to say this one is not my favorite. The drive/transmission is odd, the cruise control does NOT keep the speed consistent, the dings/notifications are frequent and not always obvious: from headlights to gas refills to coffee suggestions. Honestly I'm glad I'm leasing and not buying this car. It's nice and new, so I appreciate the low maintenance, but I don't love this car.

Kona 2025

Love the Kona! Too many bells and whistles and the car yells at me alot. Lol! Using the voice command is annoying. Doesn't always follow your commands or ends it short but I can deal. Rides smooth except in the 40 to 47 mph range, it feels rougher (bumpy). Otherwise, overall great car.

Perfect baseline model.

The Kona Se is the baseline package. It serves me well. All tech I need. One major improvement would have been a way to release hatch back with a lever INSIDE! I can release the fuel door from inside but .. poor trade off . Very cumbersome to have exit the vehicle to open back hatch. One great positive is front cabin design. Someone was thinking when considering front seat and console design. Nothing falls between ! Love this.

Automatic Hatchback

I was disappointed when I realized that the Hatchback could not be released automatically.I previously drove a Tucson, and loved that feature. It was not mentioned when I bought the vehicle, and I never thought to ask....just took for granted that it was one of the features of vehicle.

The 2025 Kona is a good vehicle. It’s small SUV good spacing and comfortable seating. It has some sporty features. It’s good on gas. The only downside for me personally is that it doesn’t respond quick if you are going on freeway . Other wise it’s a good vehicle.

Performance

My name is Harrington Christopher Young and I am a proud owner of my 2025 black Kona. I’m just gonna get straight to the point this vehicle’s performance is phenomenal. From its smooth ride on the concrete streets to a high performance on the handling this car is by far the best vehicle I’ve ever had in mind you this is my first vehicle that I have bought from a dealership many times I’ve had close calls because of course we live in Houston and people think that the speed limit is just a suggestion, but when it came to maneuvering through traffic, the handling on this vehicle did not disappoint. And I am very thankful when I want to switch lanes safely that the safety features. Let me know how close a vehicle is coming close to me. It’s like having a second awareness when you’re driving down the busy highways. The gas mileage is awesome on my vehicle. I can pay 20 bucks and have a full tank and then some. The interior is very spacious, which is surprising when you look at the exterior of the vehicle from the outside. I am glad that I bought this vehicle.

My new Kona

I have had my new Kona since July. I love this one even more then my 2018 Kona. It took a while to get used to the new way to put the car in gear, but now it's second nature.

Annoying

Really annoyed by the Stop-for--a-coffee idiotic screen that dings and overrides my music feed. No way to switch it off. I live in a high density driving area and the autistic computer guys who designed this feature have no idea about the actual realities of driving here. Make that useless prompt removable! I own the car and should be able to decide what I want from it!!!

I have owned and driven a Tucson, an Elantra and a 23 Kona, but this 2025 Kona is the best by far. It is so much roomier than the 23 Kona and much more comfortable. The things I like most about Hyundai is their safety features and their reliability. Very rarely do you have a major problem with one and if you do, Hyundai stands behind their product. Also the fact that they are reasonably priced. They are an opportunity for a person with not a lot of money to have a safe, dependable and fun automobile to drive. If anyone I know is looking for a new vehicle, I have no problem telling them what they need is a Hyundai.

Kona works for me

This is my 2nd Kona, I had a 2021 that I gifted to my granddaughter. The size and manueuverability are great for me. I would like there to be a sunglasses holder as I keep them in the car. The windshield wipers are a pain to lift up when washing the car. These are small things that you don't look for when buying a car but are helpful to have.

Getting used to cockpit always an adjustment. Wipers, mirrors, hi-beam heat/air all similar to Honda. Display super bright and easy, touch, touch, touch

Nice automobile, just make sure you read the manual to figure out all the uses/features. Sales people are only there to make a commission. Once they have they do not wish to be bothered by you.
