Great, dependable and fun (with an upscale feel)
I love my car and can't wait until I can get/justify getting the new redesigned Hyundai. Might be a long wait since my 2012 continues to look great and offer superior performance. I still get compliments and inquiries from people who take notice and want to know "what kind of car is that?"I have had only one major problem (with an electrical sensor) that disabled my vehicle while on a trip. While still under warranty, my car was towed to the dealer. It was difficult for the Jeffersonville, IN dealership to find/duplicate the problem that generated a get service immediately light and lock out the starting system. I was about to leave the dealer when the problem occurred at the dealership. I had to rent a car to get home (120 miles), come back to get my car. When I submitted the information to Hyundai Assurance Warranty folks, they refused to pay the charges because "I had not proven that I'd paid for the rental car," even though I sent receipts from the Rental Car place (referred by the dealer) and a copy of my AMX statement with the charge on it. Hasle, hasle, hasle, and I was never reimbursed! Overall, the electrical system is the only quirky weakness, with occasional "gremlins" affectiing navigation and the radio system (which sometimes doesn't come on when I start the car. I restart it, and it works.
