GREAT CAR FOR THE MONEY

I bough this car new after test driving this and five other cars in the same class and price range , the dealership was great to deal with which I can't say about all of the others , the car impressed me right from the start with its performance and ride. I have put this car in some places that it was not supposed to be and it has never let me down or disjointed me. I will when the time comes replace it with another of the same type and quality. It is a sound and comfortable car to drive on long trips but as anyother vehicle has room to improve.

Great Vehicle

My Genesis is a beautiful and smooth driving vehicle! My passengers and myself are comfortable. No one believes me when I say it is a Hyundai. My 2012 is an older model and I still receive compliments on on how beautiful/nice my car is.

Genesis, better that thoes German cars

Have owned BMW's; Mercedes & Audi - Genesis is a superior car in performance and value. Based on my experience multiple friends have purchased a Genesis. Genesis is a hidden gem in the upscale auto universe.

good car overall; small things annoy.

radio volume button "disintergrates" & a new one is $50??? Is that a "Rip" or what .Slight hesitation on accel that the techs can"t correct; Suggestion was an EXPENSIVE can of fuel injector cleaner which was BS & had no effect. Memory seat function has never really worked. Car is comfortable & drives well, but petty problems forego it from becoming a true luxury car.

Best in Class

There are a lot of vehicles out there to choose from as a consumer you want the best bang for the buck so to speak and after reviewing a lot of the vehicles it's hard to find something with good space and longevity so after purchasing the Genesis and owning one now for 6 years with zero to no problems I think it is the best car on the market for the price. It offers Comfort space great fuel mileage as well as long as you ever d you can't ask for nothing else

Best car that I have owned

The Genesis 4.6 is a great car. I purchased the car new and have loved it since day one. It's too bad that the dealerships in my area do not treat the owners as well as the Lexus dealerships. Genesis would sell many more cars.

Best kept secret

I can understand why Hyundai created a separate brand as the Genesis is a real competitor to the German and Japanese brands. Lets get on with an SUV! the Santa Fe is an excellent vehicle but I have been spoiled with the Genesis and don't want to return to Toyota.

Very nice car

It's a very nice car, a great value with an exceptional warranty. Hyundai backs their product. I've. bought a Santa Fey, Tucson and Genesis. I'm very pleased with each purchase and would recommend them highly.

Good fun classy fast car

Fast car performance is great. It has class style performance and safety all in one. The car keeps people wondering what kind of car it is. I’m usually asked is it Bentley or Mercedes. Depends if the person see the car from the front or back.

Hyundai is almost there!

I am the original owner of my 2012 Genesis 3.8L, which currently has 65K miles. I've bought the Genesis because I wanted to have rear wheel driven car (for better handling), better quality and reliability (although this car may not be a good example!) The car has performed above average although it also has had its fair share of problems.

Best performing vehicle

I love the Hyundai Genesis. The car handles better than any car I’ve owned including my Lexus and BMW. I have recently upgraded to the G80 Sport. I couldn’t be happy about this purchase. I can’t imagine owning another vehicle

Proud Genesis Owner

We've had our preowned Hyundai for a little over 2- years now. It's a luxury vehicle without the luxury price. Everyone always comments on how smooth it drives and how stylish it looks. We particularly liked this body style which is why we chose this year. The downside, like many cars these days is when something electrical fails. Definitely pay for the extended warranty as we have had to take it in a few times for major repairs which saved us thousands. Not sure if it's the quality of the car or regular wear and tear throughout the years. So far we're pleased.

My 2012 Genesis.

My Genesis is the 5.0 R Spec. That's the V8 with 429 horsepower. Love that power. It comes loaded with all kinds of "Goodiies". On the downside; The Navigation display is useless on a sunny day. Sun glare makes the display invisible. Rear-Wheel drive in the snow is a "No-Go". Unless you've got a running start, even a moderate uphill is unpassable. Also in the snow, it's not possible to "Rock" yourself out, when snowed-in because you've got to hit the brakes when Shifting from forward to reverse and back. However, all-in-all, I love my Genesis.

1 problem

The car is great except the infotainment system. Have had it replaced several times but , still have problems. High pitch whine in radio, voice recognition doesn’t work very well. Complete shutdown requiring shutdown of engine and restart.

My Genesis is my favorite car of all the cars I have owned. Love the comfort, the large trunk space, and how quickly my Genesis responds when I need to move quickly down the road. 73 yr old driver.

I love my Genesis!

I love, love, love my Genesis, but with all good comes some bad. I prefer front or all wheel drive vehicles. I can deal with the rear wheel drive. What I hate the most is that I cannot stream music. My 2012 does not have the component/gadget/software or whatever it is that allows streaming from your personal device. This car is way too luxurious to not have that one significant feature in today's world of technologically advanced vehicles. What were the designers thinking when they left that out? They need to come up with a work around, a recall, a FREE upgrade, or something. Even my Ford Taurus could stream music.

I am very satisfied with my genesis. Al though I can afford a more expensive car, Hyundai gives value and quality for the money. I still get compliments on my 2012.of course, I take good care of it and it's very clean. In my opinion, the 2012 genesis still has an appealing style and the ride is smooth. This is my fourth Hyundai and I'm very satisfied with the brand. I never tried to replace the badging on the vehicle, as I am proud to drive it.when I'm asked about the car and the brand, I speak enthisiastically about it, especially mentioning value and the length of warranty. I know others who won't drive hyundays because of the name, and I tell them maybe they should ride in one. I'm looking for a hybrid soon and was thinkoing about a Camry, as the ionic is too small for me.or maybe I'll wait awhile to see if Hyundai can build a rival. I'm sure they can. Keep looking up! Btw, I lost my 2011 to an accident and I believe the safety features kept me from serious injury
