After a month, we are generally pleased.
Going from a 2019 Accent to this new Elantra was quite a leap upwards. Going from a simple dashboard to the high-end display is taking some getting used -to, such as the a/c and defogger controls which require taking my eyes off the road as opposed to simply turning a dial to set a fan speed or temperature.The lane- drifting warning is simply annoying. I do like the driver- side warning.
Pluses: ride is smooth and quiet. Fuel economy is very good.The car is roomy, seating comfy, trunk has plenty of room, and all- round visibility expansive. A common complaint between my wife and I is the indicator: my 2019 Accent dash showed both total mileage and current trip mileage , and did not reset after every stop as does the current car- it made it easier to tell how many miles we drove on every given day; on the new car the mileage meter resets at every longish stop.So, unless one has a trip log (;or tablet and pencil, it is a It less convenient to record mpg or time distance between layovers. (;Possibly nit- picking here.)
Nicely styled car- but I cannot help but thing all those sharp fascia ( bumper) designs would mean an expense repair of a parking-lot bump. Overall, though, We are happy with purchase( but I miss my Accent)
