Overall great vehicle; some room for improvement
The car gets great mileage as a hybrid. It drives smoothly and theres hardly any learning curve (presuming you are accustomed to driving sedans like I am). A few suggestions:
1. The seats are too bucket-like. (The seats are slightly dipped backwards, so it feels like you are sitting on a toilet). The driver's seat needs more support, specifically where your buttocks and spine meet.
2. The inside of the car tends to get loud while driving. Maybe this is just a problem with being in a sedan that drives close to the ground, but perhaps it could be more insulated to reduce outside noise.
3. The touch screen could be more sensitive (it's not like an iPad screen, etc.). You have to press hard when using it.
4. It is difficult to add "favorites" when using the radio. The buttons on the steering wheel (specifically to navigate between Sirius XM radio stations) is not intuitive. To go from channel 1 to channel 2, you have to press the "down" button on the steering wheel. You would think it would be opposite.
5. I love the ambient lighting. There are a multitude of color choices. I wish there were ambient floor lighting as well.
6. I love the Hyundai app/Bluelink feature. I can control my car from my phone. I instantly get notified if my doors are unlocked or if the vehicle needs service.
7. I love the separation bar between the passenger and driver's seat. It prevents passengers from accidentally interfering with the driver's controls and gearshift.
