Cute and competent economy

After 2 years of driving my Accent hatch, I still find it quite attractive. Best qualities have been its reliability, great cabin ergonomics, hatchback versatility, and the Hyundai service experience. Finally, the choice of Hyundai to use 6 speed auto transmissions instead of cats was very smart. Too many cats have given their owners reliability headaches, not to mention disconcerting drive dynamics. My only druthers would be to have more impressive (and more accurately measured) fuel economy...for the class it is mediocre, and a bit more responsive accelerator tuning. It has plenty of power but can be annoying in that you must floor it to get anything more than very tepid response. I assume the manual transmission variant would not have this issue at all.

Good dependable car

Dependable, comfortable car. Never had a mechanical problem. Good gas mileage, Fits four very comfortably. Plenty of storage.. Don't think I have ever seen one broken down by the side of the road. Good acceleration, good performance..

My thoughts on the 2012 Hyundai Accent is that it is easy to drive and easy to keep it maintained. I mostly drive it to keep my appointments and run errands. It is everything I need for my driving usage.

Hyundai Accent Hatchback

I've had my car for 4 years and the only thing I don't like is the uncomfortable back seat. Other than that, it's great for my needs because it does amazing mileage on gas, handles well & it's a cute car!

love it

Not too many people prefer the accent but because of its sleek small appearance, it works for me. It's great on gas and I've had little issues with it being over 100k. Maintenence is inexpensive and it's easy to maintain!

My Accent

Very pleased with my Accent. It was inherited from my mother who loved it. Gets great mileage and is comfortable to to take on extended rides. The rear seat folds down so there is also extra cargo space when needed.88

Love my car..

My car is perfect I pay 30.00 to fill my tank (depending on cost of gas) make it to Las Vegas on one tank....with some left over. It gets great mileage. I travel once a month to Vegas. I call it my 30.00 car ?

Love my little red bird!

I purchased my 2012 new on 11-11-11. Today it has over 139,000 miles on it. My little red bird has been to the tip of Florida and to the mountains of North Carolina. I use the same dealership for servicing and it’s still gets great gas mileage. I would recommend to anyone especially a college student as a first car.

The Hyundai Accent has been a great vehicle for us.

The Hyundai Accent has been a excellent vehicle for us. There has been absolutely no problems with the Accent and will be now be used in the family by the son. We just purchased two more Hyundai's from the dealer (Sonata's) as the family has gotten bigger and we needed more vehicles. Thanks Hyundai for great vehicles.

I love my car. Was a little skeptical at first, but after putting it on the highway I had no doubt that this car is going to do me good. Just had my 6 months service and everything were A okay. All of my friends and family says this car is me.. It has great get up and go, its compact to easily handle and just enough for me. The features are up to date enough for me. Just one thing I would love to have had the car in a black ?..

Always top notch service

Every time we go to Hyundai the service is excellent. The staff always make sure my vehicles needs are met. We have had four Hyundai vehicles and have had only great experiences with the vehicles and staff.

2012 Hyundai Accent

My Accent has always been reliable. The only thing I had to get used to is how low it is so low to the ground from a previous vehicle I owned (not an accent). I ended up having to have repairs to my front bumper a few times before I adjusted to the fact that I had to be extra careful when parking against a burb or similar barrier. The car has been very comfortable to drive and I have recommended it to my friends and family.

2012 Accent 5-door

I am very happy my 2012 Accent as I have had no failures with my car over 84K miles of driving. The reliability of the Accent speaks for itself. It is the perfect vehicle for me for the urban and highway driving that I do, and I really like the average 35mpg fuel usage that I get. I also got 41.4mpg while on a 2,300 mile road trip this past fall 2017.

I love this Car!

This might be the very best car that I have ever owned. It is not only cute; but it is efficient. My car loves to be driven, but also does not mind sitting still. It does have that "pick up and go" when needed. All my friends tell me that the car and me are a perfect match. They tell me this is the car they thought I would be driving. Poor visibility, transmission issues, expensive tires.

I bought this car because it had great MPG and safety ratings, and did not break the bank. Shortly after purchasing, I learned that the MPG rating was misrepresented, I realized the visibility was seriously terrible, and worse the engine started having issues that have yet to be fixed because it is on and off. The engine started slipping randomly and my acceleration declined. I’ve had issues with the electricity when my doors wouldn’t lock and my back window kept rolling down on its own and wouldn’t roll back up.

A very good automobile. Good on gas and easy care.

I will purchase another one , sometimes e in the future. It is a very economical automobile. With the increase of gas, this car will not cost an arm and leg to fill the tank up. Keep tank full when is 1/2 full refill and cost will be even less.

The maintenance technicians at Roger Beasley Hyundai were so speedy and accurate with the service they provided! I was also able to sign up for the dealership's Rewards program and will likely use my accumulated points when I decide to buy a new Hyundai later this year.

Very efficient vehicle
