2007 Honda Civic reliable work horse
This car works well for the back-and-forth-to-Seattle trips that I need to make. It was a dark and rainy day when I drove off the lot of Sims Honda, and all worked well in the car. Braking is not too touchy and very reliable, without noticeable decrement in function with the wet conditions. Steering is also very responsive, which I found out when having to swerve suddenly to avoid a car that pulled out in front of me. I very much appreciate the large speedometer display, and the easy to identify and use climate controls. Sound system manages to be easy to listen to above average level of road noise (much less noise than in my Pilot). The seat is comfortable for my small frame (I am 5'3"), which is not always the case. The trunk seems huge, carrying all the shopping bags I had acquired in Seattle. This car will work well for my commute needs, and I am looking forward to the improved gas mileage and parking. It has easy to use cruise control, but no hands-free cell phone use. Guess I will have to listen to music and not talk!
