Only good things

I'm super happy with it 20 years old but was well taken care of, every mechanic I speak with has the same opinion. These trucks last a long time. If I down the road buy another truck it will be another yukon I have the xl 2500

My car is 20 years old!.

My Yukon XL has served me well I wish it would last forever. I love the visability from it, and still use the space for my kayak, cages of dogs, etc/ I am presently getting rid of a lot of clutter, and it can hold bags and bags of used clothing and furniture. I don't drive as much any more so I don't mind the mlleage . It is great on trips to the Cape but is no longer used for towing, but when it did it was amazing and towed family boats effortlessly We are both elderly now, and I just hope that it lasts as long as I do.

I can't imagine ever driving anything else

I love everything about this vehicle. I used to tow a boat, trailers, and now just carry kayaks around. Love the freedom to be able to transport the whole family, lots of luggage during airport runs, furniture, lawnmowers, tag sale finds, trash--anything I want. I can put 6 dogs in crates in the back, and buy all the groceries I need in one trip. I have even camped out and slept in the vehicle. The car is great on long highway trips, with excellent gas mileage with it's big efficient engine even at the age of 16. I love the space. I feel safe up high. I can see all around me and all the little cars (I call them ass draggers) get out of my way, and the big truck drivers can see me. Had at least 4 Chevrolet suburban vehicles prior to this one and the GMC Yukon XL is far superior.

GMC Yukon XL

Have driven Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Yukon XL Vehicles since 1967. My present GMC Yukon XL 2000 has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. It is safe, reliable, gets good gas mileage, has excellent towing ability and can hold my entire family, or just me and a load of furniture or kayaks. I can sleep in it with all 6 of my dogs, and the way things are going I might have to live in it some day. So far repairs have been minimal and it is always serviced and checked out as suggested by Checkered Flag. I hope I never have to drive any other vehicle except possible a replacement certified used GMC Yukon XL.
