Best Vehicle I've Owned

The Jimmy was my first vehicle so it holds a special place in my heart, but I still like it so much better than the other vehicles I have owned. It is a very sturdy and compact vehicle. I thought it was good on gas, always felt safe on the road, and it has features not all of my vehicles after it had (like an outdoor temperature gauge and compass). My current vehicle would definitely not be capable of doing some of the things I put my Jimmy through and still be alright. Great vehicle all around.

Best Vehicle I’ve Ever Owned!

I just wish that GMC still made the Jimmy. It has proven to be the MOST reliable and fun vehicle to drive. It has stood the test of time, with minimal mechanical hiccups since I bought it new in 2001! My mechanics keep it in top running condition, so I hope I’ll be driving it for years to come.

Great vehicle!

My GMC Jimmy is the dependable vehicle I had hoped it would be. At 16 years of age, it is still going strong and the style is still "in." My only regret is that they have stopped making this model.

Very Knowledgable and honest.if you don't want to be taken to the cleaners ,then go to the Auto Doctor of Warminster..

Was able to get appointment ,when i needed it,due to the hours i work. and was very accommodating. most places are not so accommodating .and have been not satisfied with previous service places that took care of my Jimmy. when i take it to the Auto Doctor, it is always fixed the 1st time , i don't have to worry about it not being fixed correct way.. i am so glad we finally found a place we can depend on and refer other people to .

Great vehicle for an SUV over a decade old.

Although It gets only half of the gas mileage of my previous vehicle, I enjoy the solidness of the GMC Jimmy SLS 2 door, rear wheel drive. It has some issues that need to be resolved to be nearly perfect, (a Check Engine Soon light caused by a failed fuel tank pressure sensor and a bad transistor in the ABS module causing false ABS and Brake lights), but will be addressing these as I can afford to. The ride is great and the handling very good. I appreciate the lower insurance rate due to the size and reputation of the vehicle. My daughter had a 1999 4 wheel drive Jimmy, so I felt very little resistance to buying my Jimmy when it was offered at a price below Blue Book.

Dependable Vehicle

This GMC product has been in our family since 2003 and was used primarily by our son. Since I have always taken care of it I am writing this review. It has been a great vehicle with little or no problems all these years. I am now getting it serviced and checking it over before I give it to one of my grandson's.
