Sweet GV 80

Nice looking vehicle that gets attention. Love the color and new additions to this 2025 GV80. The safety features are a big hit, but don’t use a couple of them. Overall, a beautiful bold look and feel. This is one serious luxury SUV.

Good looking vehicle but mine was poorly built

I traded my gv80 for a 2025 coupe. My 2021 gv80 3.5 t was a great choice. Solid,quiet and well put together. The gv80 coupe, not so much. In shop and gonna need major repairs.

2025 Genesis GV80 2.5 Prestige

We recently traded our 2023 GV70 Sport for a 2025 GV80 2.5 Prestige. Loved the GV70 but wanted a little more space and comfort in our old age. The 80 accomplishes that. I think Genesis makes one of the sharpest looking vehicles available today, both inside and out. The safety features also beat anything else we looked at. We normally switch brands each time we trade but we made an exception this time due to the reasons mentioned above. The only way Genesis could improve would be to make a hybrid model.

Affordable luxury redefined, with a few things missing

I love my Genesis, plain and simple. Is it perfect? No! It is an experience I truly love and look forward to indulge in when I drive! It is the kind of luxury which does not go over the top to make its presence felt, but a muted polished assistant which is confident of knowing when you need help and fully ready to serve up! The customized ergonomic posture adjusting seat is a good example, tucked away in settings, but the moment you let it do its thing, you will notice the difference in your driving comfort immediately! The vast array of driving assist features is awesome, but it is becoming more and more standard fare, so what is truly unique is the time and place when these features or only the most relevant subset of them engage, and more important disengage. You the driver are still fully in control. The design intent to remain reasonable and practical is evident in the thankful choice to retain physical buttons (you don't need to search for a touchscreen button just to open the glovebox!) Nothing though is perfect, and Genesis leaves somethings that can be useful! 1. The door storage pockets are simply too shallow and small. You can barely fit an umbrella and nothing else. It needs to be more practical and thoughtful. 2. Car doors should auto lock when a certain time has elapsed after you have walked away from the car with the keys. Currently, the car will remain unlocked until you explicitly lock it. This is a safety feature that should not be missed. 3. Locating the car in a typical parking lot is challenge simply because unlocking it does not make any sound! 4. Would it not be great if the A pillars did not have a supporting beam running under the retracting moonroof across the vehicle width! It just spoils the beautiful view! 5. The mount for the rear windshield vipers should be on the top rather than bottom, so that they can be completely hidden when not in use! 6. The cargo area will definitely benefit from thoughtful storage, something like BMWs offer, including things such as an extendable cargo extension

Better than expected

Very nice vehicle with lots of bells and whistles. Is the premium worth it compared to other luxury vehicles? I definitely like this better than the BMW X5. Rims are high sensitive to curb rash and there is some rusting on the inside door step panels. It's a good car just wasn't in pristine shape even though I bought this new.

I have owned a 2021 & now a 2025 Genesis GV-80. Great experience.

The 2025 is a nice upgrade of the 2021 model. The drive is amazing and comfortable and the user adjustable features are very good.

Missed the Mark

If you have pets, GV80 is not for you. Had 2023 GV80 2 rows. It had vents in the back but they weren't hooked up. Found that out after purchase, when traveling with pets and it was very warm in the back with no air flow.. Was told by Genesis Dealer I needed to get a 3 row GV80 to get air conditioning in the rear of the car. I looked at the 2025 GV80 3 row as it solved the problem for the pets but had no spare tire! They said buy a spare and we will mount it under the car. I bought the car, bought the spare, brought it to the dealer and the service dept said there was no way to mount the spare. The spare now takes up the majority of the room in the back so the dogs are now cool but cramped. I've had the 2025 GV80 4 months and am already looking into getting rid of the Genesis and buying a new car that has air conditioning in the rear and has a spare tire for safety!

Luxury SUV with all the bells & whistles for a good price!

I love my GV80! It’s a great combination of price, luxury, performance and modern amenities! Only issue is I’m still unable to connect CarPlay wirelessly despite the update!

Beautiful car - inside and out. Minor complaints about the system.

Love the look and feel of my car. My complaint is that the CarPlay system still won't connect wirelessly, and the dealer stated this would eventually update when I've had it for a week or so. I have to keep it plugged into the outlet to work. Additionally, it doesn't automatically connect to my phone. I have to select it by going through a series of buttons every time I use my car.
