Nice vehicle, but better not need Service!

This vehicle has all the characteristics of an advanced, high-end vehicle. However, Genesis has not staffed and maintained a sufficient service and maintenance organization for this vehicle. A Customer can wait days and even weeks for a simple part to be replaced. If they actually want to compete with Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, and Audi, this needs to be addressed ASAP. Customers spending this amount of money on a vehicle deserve significantly higher service levels. #1 reason why I will likely look elsewhere in the future!

the car performs very well. The engine is responsive, but does require high test fuel. The interior is plush. The safety features are impressive. The interior is very quiet. All features work well after 20,000 miles. The dealership is very supportive and handles servicing promptly.

Great driver assistance and awareness features

Fun to drive. It’s a looker that is well dressed. Listen it’s 11 pm and I’m going to bed after ploughing thought these questions. No more words. None what so ever. The weather is raining. I’m cold. Got go to bed. My tooth brush is calling. Thank I’ve stilll got teeth. Good nite. You can probably tell the survey is way to long.

Loved the vehicle, but disappointed in SERVICE AVAILABILITY

Loved the vehicle, but the service was not readily available. This meant that the FREE Service had to be paid for out-of-pocket. Reimbursement was NOT PROMPT! Genesis customers deserve to be treated more considerately. We recently gave up our GV80 and bought a vehicle from a local dealership. We hope that our message will spur Genesis to provide service and customer consideration equal to the quality of the vehicle that they represent.

The vehicle is great. Genesis, not so much.

The vehicle is great. Genesis, not so much. After several months I still can't get the owner changed so I can't use any app services. I've done everything they require, and still can't get it done. It's really put a stain on an otherwise good vehicle.

Our favorite car of all time!

This is my favorite cat of all time, it rides like a dream, is so well constructed and gorgeous on exterior and interior. Our family of 4 was able to take a trip to Nova Scotia with 3 dogs in tow and the GV 80 had enough room to seat the 4 adults comfortably along with a large golden doodle, springer spaniel and malti poo. The leather in the car has held up beyond imagination even with animals in the car and we have used the car for ski trips and hiking. The Genesis GV80 is truly amazing!

Very pleased so far with the vehicle. This is my first purchase of a higher end vehicle and the vehicle quality and dealer experience has been the best I've experienced so far. Short of a travel issue with out of town dealers in the Denver, Co. area that was extremely concerning. I would have expected a better effort by these dealers for someone with an issue while travelling. They were far to busy to deal with my concerns. The issue ended up resolving itself on it's own, after about 8 hours travel in a very remote area.

GV80 Is a Stylish Ride

Genesis is high quality throughout. Very nice ride and appearance. Interior is excellent. One primary buying influence was the safety system, cameras, blind spot cameras, lane-centering, auto stop to prevent collisions, both forward and backup. Systems all seem well designed. Choosing the 4 cylinder turbo gives 300HP performance and pretty good mileage. People ask often about the car based on its appearance alone.

This is a beautiful vehicle that definitely turns heads. Very sleek and sporty. Truly a Bentley on a budget. You won't find another luxury suv for this price with this many features. The gas mileage could be better especially in the city. However, this is a tank (over 3 ton).

Do not own anymore but have a 2023 GV 80

In general fantastic vehicle. It could have a softer ride and quieter interior like the GV 70. I believe there should be better communication between the factory and dealers. The map upgrade at the dealership wanted to charge me. They said not free anymore? I did it myself!

Fun car to drive and very comfortable and safe. Really like the massage feature that comes on after an hour of driving. Love lane changing alerts. Cruise control is very user friendly. The turbo charged engine really gives you a lot of pickup. Like the heads-up display is great for seeing you speed and also alerts in school zones.

Great vehicle, but poor dealer network

Pretty much like everything about the GV80 SUV, except 1) requires USB hookup for CarPlay & 2) dealer network lacks good locations (none in KC!) and the combined Hyundai/Genesis dealerships are generally not as accommodating as Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, etc. Need more stand alone Genesis dealers.

Excellent luxury and performance. Very stylish. I have received numerous compliments on the appearance. Technology package is first rate. Love the 17" display screen. Powerful but at the same time it's a smooth and comfortable ride. Dealership and customer service has been great.

GV80 Signature Prestige Gray Matte - 1st Year

Just plain WOW! My wife was the first to see the GV80 recommending we consider it a replacement for my 2011 Genesis Coupe. After shopping around, we found the Signature Prestige Gray Matte, and the search was over. South Bay Genesis is in Torrance, California treated us very well. Luckily they had one of these models.

Has some luxury features that makes the car attractive, however after driving it for a couple days you start seeing what fool you can be with just luxury, buying a luxury car should have a good motor as well, the drive and performance are more than 70% of the value of the car, If my car wouldn’t have make any issues I would stay quiet, however i am experiencing lot of issues, so…

Multiple check engine lights.

Unfortunately during the first year of ownership, the check engine light has appeared three times for an engine misfire. First time the dealer switched the coils. Second time the coils were replaced. Third time the car was at the dealership for almost a month to replace two injectors. The injectors were on backorder.

Good car, for an expensive price and not even worth the dealership in terms of selling the vehicle.

The vehicle is really good. Really impressive in its characteristics and it is so beautiful its exterior. The dealership should be improved on how they sell these cars. Genesis is a Luxury car which should have more comfort their customers. I remember when I was there to buy my car, I came with my family and they did not offer any water or place to let them sit or rest while I was doing the deal. This is unacceptable. The connectivity service is not working properly and the dealership tried once to fix it. I will take it to be fixed again in the next service. The rest, the car is good.

Very poor performance . In my rating of the company on line survey they changed my rating factors to reflect a higher score than I gave them. Company very unresponsive to the problems we encountered wity the car.

Not reliable we had multiple issues with our GV 80 which after 5 months of being at a dealership to repair, they could not fix the problem. During this time we were not furnished a car to drive. After contacting the Company we had very poor response time back regarding our issues. Seems like the only time they csred about us, was at the time of the sale. We would not recommend this vehicle to anyone to buy.
