My favorite car

When I first saw this car in 2021, it was love at first sight! It took me two and a half years to finally buy one. But now I can say that I am the proud owner of a GV70! Every time I sit in the driver’s seat and fet behind that wheel, I am in heaven!

Worst brand ever

One puts their life in their hands every time your behind the wheels of a Genesis, particularly the GV70. The car has stalled multiple times, once on a highway while traveling 65mph, reducing the speed to 25mph the 18mph. Dangerous and unsafe vehicles.

Luxury comfort

Did a lot of research before selecting my GV70. Very happy with the overall package of luxury, comfort, style, features, performance, warranty & just plain fun driving experience. Road trips are a breeze & love when the seat massager turns on. Still have features to learn about & enjoy. My best vehicle purchase ever!

Beautiful

The GV 70 is beautiful inside out, the interior color and leather is luxurious. The size is perfect for me. It drives like a dream. I love the grill. The connection with the app of the vehicle is genius. We can lock the car from the phone. You can start the car from your phone. Very nice feature.

This is my 4th Genesis, which speaks to how much I like the brand.

I love almost everything about the car with these exceptions: parts often take time to reach the dealership; the sound system could be of much higher quality (I have the prestige version of the GV70); and the antennae for the radio does not bring in clear signals for some stations.

Love my car

The car is everything that I anticipated from Genesis. Both the interior and exterior of the car of high quality. It has all the safety and convenience that anyone would desire. It’s fun to drive and very comfortable. I really love the blue color with the tan interior. Overall, I am very happy with my G70.

Comfy, stylish, power when needed. Good gas mileage.

Comfortable in both the front seat and the back. Shifting is very smooth. Plenty of power. Very quiet in the cabin when traveling. Took a trip to San Antonio and got 30 miles per gallon of gas on Interstate 10. Just love the vehicle. Have had many compliments on its appearance.

Overall we love our new GV70. Looks great, nice to drive.

I wish it got a bit better gas mileage and that the gas tank was larger. We moved to this from a 535i which could go more than 100 miles further on a tank. I also wish for finer control of the audio through an EQ instead of just base, mid and treble. Also the surround sound options are not available when playing music through Apple CarPlay which is a huge miss. The vehicle is very comfortable overall and super quiet. I do which the front seat bottoms were slightly softer - even with the massaging seat my bottom gets numb after just a couple of hours. The navigation system doesn't show traffic with any where near the detail of my BMW (missing on most roads outside of a major metro downtown) Lastly, I'm also noticing some odd hesitation under heavier throttle when the engine is not fully warm - it works itself out but is sometimes disconcerting when pulling out into traffic. I will mention this and see if it can be addressed when it goes in for its first service.

New to Genesis and Love it, you get so much for the price very high end vehicle from the look and performance, you get it all. I love the looks and comments I get wherever I go, highly recommend not only the car but the dealership as well (Global in North Plainfield).

Excellent luxury car value

There are some features that should be standard for a luxury vehicle at this price, even though there are different trim levels. I had a list of several of them, but as usual when put on the spot, I can’t recall them at the moment. But I have owned three Genesis in total and there should be a few more features to separate it from a Hyundai or a kia.

Simply the Best

This is the fifth Genesis automobile I have purchased. Two G80's, one G90 and two GV70's. I am now in my 80's and have purchased over 100 other vehicles. Without hesitation the Genesis automobiles have been as fun to drive and reliable as any other vehicle I have owned. In addition I have found that the value of the Genesis is far better than others. And the service has been very good though not needed except for regular scheduled maintenance.

Bought this almost as n impulse purchase. Looked at it on Sunday, test drove on Monday and drove it home Tuesday. Have never looked back. Very pleased with the overall soundness, handling, comfort and driveability of the GV70. Looks are outstanding.

My Gv70 is stylish, quiet and dream to drive.

Everything about my Gv70 is first class. Styling has drawn comments from strangers at service stations and parking lots. Fit and finish are excellent. It has sufficient power so that it doesn’t need constant downshifting to maintain speed when going uphill.

The air in one of the tires is consistently lower than the others. The temperature on the cluster and on the screen are not in sync. There is a squealing sound from the front left side when we reverse. It sits too low to the ground, I probably would not buy it again.

Love it! Happy with purchase.

Like the size of Gv70. Solid, sit up nice in driver seat, not too big of a truck. Comfortable interior and seats. Appreciate the valet service when needed maintenance appointment. Very convenient. Only issues: 1.) software recall, but not ready to fix yet (waiting for contact from dealer when they are ready). 2.) wind whistle at driver side window or door seal.

I knew this was the car for me

I love this car! After extensive research and test driving of luxury SUVs, I kept coming back to the GV70 for its style, performance, comfort, and features. I love that it doesn't look like every other SUV in its class! The exterior is sylish and the interior colors are fun. I test drove the Lexus, Cadillac, Mazda, Infiniti, and the Genesis, and read extensive reviews from trusted sources on Volvo, Lexus, Mercedes, Acura, and the cars listed above, and the Genesis came out on top over all of them. My previous car was a 2013 Cadillac SRX, which I loved so much I would have bought it again had I not tried the Genesis. The Genesis has every luxury feature you could want and is thoughtfully designed for comfort and usability. And it is so fun to drive! It is responsive and peppy, and the driving assistance features perform excellently.

Great Combo of Luxury and Performance

I am enjoying my GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige even more than I expected to. Not only is it great-looking on the outside, but it also has the nicest interior layout and details that I have ever owned, and this is from someone whose first car was purchased in 1969! The latest technology is everywhere from the flexible and innovative infotainment system to the various driving aids and safety features. Yes, there's a lot to learn, but once it sinks in it is easy and intuitive to operate. From a performance standpoint, I have an automotive engineering background and have been very impressed by how well this compact SUV rides and handles. With the 21" tires and being based on a rear-wheel-drive platform, the turn-in on corners gets close to what you'd expect from a sport sedan. The ride is also very well controlled, firm without being harsh, and some of my misgivings about the low-profile tires have been alleviated by my experience with the car over the winter season. It also does surprising well in the snow with the OEM tires and the "SNOW" driving mode. The multiple driving modes are another well-implemented feature of the car. I haven't yet had the opportunity to really try "SPORT" or "SPORT+", but from what I've felt in the more sedate modes I'm sure that the GV70 will meet any performance requirements that I ask of it!

Very Comfortable

Very smooth ride and comfortable seats. Parking assist is very helpful while becoming familiar with the car. I like that I receive videos on how to work the car in increments and can reference them at any time. Can't wait to take it on a long trip and see how it does
