GV70 Review

Best vehicle I have owned. Quality is excellent. The vehicle has a head turning appearance. I really love it and highly recommend it to everyone in the market for a vehicle. Fit and finish on the vehicle is excellent. I am so happy with my decision to purchase this vehicle.

I love my Genesis GV70

The value of the vehicle is amazing. I love the way it drives. The interface could be a bit more user-friendly as I don’t love the dial feature for the interface as well as to change the gears but other than that, I have no complaints. It’s a beautiful car that performs well and I will be loyal to Genesis.

My dream car

I have wanted a Genesis for as long as I can remember. I bought the G70 first and loved my car, but realized I needed a little more room. I sold my G70 and leased my GV70. I am now and forever going to a Genesis owner. I tell everyone I know about the beauty of this car.

Great car

This is a great vehicle to drive its amazing and safe out on the road. The safety features on the vehicle are amazing and driving. It is much safer. The car is beautiful inside and out, and the heated seats and the cooled seats are an amazing feature also

Very nice but some real short comings not expected at this price point

Great power, great ride, great look. Controls have too much detail. After a month still have problems getting car play, radio stations, air cond, console views. Can't figure out how to have digital speed show in console. No room for extra keys and cell phone. have to use cup holders. Need more tray space. Door pockets are to small. You tube videos are useless and should be professional quality detailed explanations for all the controls. You are really missing the opportunity to help owners.

Great experience at Santa Monica Genesis!

I am very happy with my car. It is very comfortable and easy to operate. I especially like the seat heater and massage. The safety features, including the side cameras are a great addition and give me a strong sense of security.

Luxury Performance

I've had my GV70 for 6 months and the performance has been excellent. The acceleration, gas mileage, beauty/design, features, ease of navigation of driver interface, all exceed my expectations and seem to be more price competitive than other luxury vehicles. Highly recommend!

Made the move from BMW to Genesis

The search for a midsize SUV brought me to Genesis. The GV 70 checked all of the boxes. Good enginer reponse, fun to drive, Legroom, trunk room, luxury interior, stylish exterior at a very reasonable price. No regrets in making the move from BMW to Genesis.

2025 GV70 twin turbo

Overall, I love my GV70 IT is fun little SUV. In sports mode you really feel the 3.5 liter twin turbo kick in’ . Not the best on gas , even in economy mode, but didn’t purchase it with gas mileage in mind. Really like the quilted leather seat in dark gray with red stitching.

Lack of Audio Display

It would be great if you could see the music details (song, artist, etc) within the dashboard display. It doesn't need to take the full screen, but it could be below the digital MPH display or something similar. These details appear when you change the station, but I would prefer that it stays up permanently. Also allow for radio/music details to appear on the far right side of the main display when ApplePlay is active.

Awesome ride

I have enjoyed driving this car. My favorite car up to date. It is the perfect size. I love the fact that they will pick up my car for warranty work. Keeps me from driving to dealership which is an hour away. I get compliments on this vehicle from all my friends

Feature filled, over complicated rocket!

What drew us to the Genesis, besides its great looks, was the terrific factory warranty. All new cars are way over complicated with features many of us will never use, but will cost a fortune to repair if/when they fail. Genesis has the guts to stand behind its products for more than 36 months when that time comes.

Vehicle experience was great! Dealership employees were helpful.

The comfort level in this car is a 10 out of 10. Thankful for all of the safety features. I love the seat massager and heaters. The back seat also offers another level of comfort with the reclining seats for the taller passenger. I’ve never been happier with a car. Thank you Genesis Santa Monica!

Excellent Ride

Overall we love our Genesis GV70. The handling and performance of the car is excellent and we love the look. It has very nice features like the remote vehicle check and safeguards you get with the Genesis App as well as the 360 view when parking and the lane assist. The massage on the driver side seat is also excellent. Nothing is ever perfect so our recommendations would center around the difficulty in using the voice navigation system as well as the gear selector which is a round knob which doesn’t provide any feedback when it engages in drive or reverse. There is also a glare on the front window when the sun is out from the pop up area that is very distracting. Finally, the cargo cover leaves a large gap between the back seat and the start of the cover which is very inconvenient. We do love our Genesis and these issues are not show stoppers but we felt it necessary to mention.

My favorite car

When I first saw this car in 2021, it was love at first sight! It took me two and a half years to finally buy one. But now I can say that I am the proud owner of a GV70! Every time I sit in the driver’s seat and fet behind that wheel, I am in heaven!

Worst brand ever

One puts their life in their hands every time your behind the wheels of a Genesis, particularly the GV70. The car has stalled multiple times, once on a highway while traveling 65mph, reducing the speed to 25mph the 18mph. Dangerous and unsafe vehicles.

Luxury comfort

Did a lot of research before selecting my GV70. Very happy with the overall package of luxury, comfort, style, features, performance, warranty & just plain fun driving experience. Beautiful

The GV 70 is beautiful inside out, the interior color and leather is luxurious. The size is perfect for me. It drives like a dream. I love the grill. The connection with the app of the vehicle is genius. We can lock the car from the phone. You can start the car from your phone. Very nice feature.

This is my 4th Genesis, which speaks to how much I like the brand.

I love almost everything about the car with these exceptions: parts often take time to reach the dealership; the sound system could be of much higher quality (I have the prestige version of the GV70); and the antennae for the radio does not bring in clear signals for some stations.
