Excellent Comfort & Ride, but Technology is a Problem
Our 2025 GV70 is very comfortable, rides well and feels well made. We would enjoy driving it more, if not for the technology issues we have encountered ever since purchasing it. Several dealer resets have done little to fix the issues. My wife (#1 driver) and I (#2 driver) get in the car and identify ourselves (via finger print or passcode) only to have the driver seat reposition to the other drivers seat position, if the car was previously driven by the other driver. There is no issue if you were the previous driver of the GV70. This issue occurs 100% of the time when you were not the previous driver. Additionally since purchasing the car, I (#2 driver) have experienced driver verification checks while driving the GV70 after verifying myself (via finger print) at vehicle start up. This occurred more frequently prior to the first reset but even after the second reset it occurs approximately twice per month. This issue typically occurs within 5 minutes of startup. The center console will switch to the ID confirmation screen for my wife and ask for her passcode. Mean while this locks me out of control of the radio, climate control, and any other center console displays. To resolve the issue I have to pull off the road, shut off the GV70 and then restart it and proceed through the driver verification process all over again. This is VERY FRUSTRATING! We would really like to give a good review our GV70 but we cannot!
