Love my GV 70

I like everything about the GB 70 I own except the windshield wipers. Cannot lift them up prior to a snowstorm so they tend to freeze to the windshield

Not dependable

The car battery died 4 times. Even after being replaced once. The dealership said my only option was to buy battery and keep attaching it to the car. I also bought a jump n carry. That I can’t trust the car to start and it brand new and the dealership says there’s nothing g that can be done is very disconcerting.

I love My GV 70

My car is a classy, comfortable car that meets all of my needs. It's roomy and can carry lots of stuff when the back seats are down. I get lots of people commenting on the car. It's very fun to drive.

Great looking small SUV. Very nimble in traffic. Great technology. The 2.5 lacks power and struggles sometimes to respond when punching it. Digital key is outdated. Some physical buttons are missing, most notably the steering wheel warmer and seat cooler/ warmer. Mesh inserts are not very comfortable.

Great smaller SUV with tons of features at a good-price price point

Everyone thinks I drive a Porsche! This great looking mid size SUV handles well, has all the bells and whistles I could want and didn’t cost a fortune. So far it has been very reliable! Only issues stem from its interface with Apple CarPlay.

Computer system is glitchy. Takes too long to switch drivers and always tries to connect to my phone when I use voice commands...super frustrating and leads to distracted driving. I dont want to connect to my phone, want to change radio station or get directions. Hatch is inconsistent opening, takes multiple attempts to open fully. Blinker system visual has finally stopped going to solid green (after being fixed at dealership and continuing to have problems with this for 6 months). Definitely not luxury car based on experience.

Genesis GV70

I have had my GV 70 less than one year. I have had it into the shop a minimum of three times. This last time I had not started the car for a week and the battery was dead. I was locked out of my car and I tried to call the dealership numerous times with no one answering the phone and text messages not being returned in a timely fashion. I finally called AAA. They came and were able to get into my car which I was locked out of and start it. They tested the battery and it tested bad. I drove the car to the dealership at which point they had just called me and I told them I was on my way. When I got there, they were very cordial and said they would put my car on a charger to see if it would hold a charge and check the battery. They told me it would take several hours and they could take me home but that they did not have a car to loan me. I explained I had just gotten out of the hospital and had numerous stitches and could not be without a car in case I needed to go back. They said there was nothing they could do and I said I would wait for my car to be tested and if needed, I would wait there until they had a loaner car available. They put my car on a charger and came out to tell me that it would not hold a charge and the battery was bad. They did not have any batteries available and could give me a ride home but no car was available for loan. That evening, I did receive a call telling me they would get me a car when the first one became available. I would not have to wait in line due to my health problems. Later that evening I received a text letting me know the battery should be in in approximately 1 week. The next morning, I received a text that I would have a loaner car that morning and they did come through with a loaner at noon. Since then, they said a battery should be available within a day or two. I just want to say that your representatives were very courteous, but the fact that your dealership does not answer their phones or return texts in a timely fashion or even carry batteries for the cars they sell knowing that there is a problem with the batteries is totally unacceptable.
