Beautiful, not perfect!

The style and comfort are the two qualities I appreciate. GPS is mediocre. I've lived in a new townhouse community for almost 2 years, it still gives me wrong directions.

Great car and a great value

We love our GV70. It is roomy but has excellent performance for an SUV. Good leg room and nice cargo area. Seats are very easily dropped down for full cargo area. All the creature comforts and electronics of far more expensive vehicles. Vehicle proximity warning systems are very good, and the phone charger is great. Seats are very comfortable, both front and rear. Definitely will buy another, but we hope this one lasts forever.

Great car...

Love the look plus performance of my GV70. There are features on this car that one only finds on high level cars plus the dealership does a fantastic job.

Strike two, A/C system has failed.

Reliability of vehicle is very poor. Turbo charger and now A/C system failures. All within 30,000 miles and 26 months. Waiting on strike three, then filing a lemon law suit.

Genesis 2024 GV70

Up until now I am very happy with the car. This replaces a Mercedes GLK 350, which I was also very happy with after 10 years of ownership. So far the Genesis competes admirably against the Merc.

Regret Buying

This is the most uncomfortable car I鈥檝e ever owned. The seats are so hard that I can鈥檛 wait to get out of it. I had to buy a foam cushion in order to travel just 2 hours to see our kids. This issue alone, is enough to make me look forward to the day we can get rid of it. The car鈥檚 battery also died without cause. We parked the car in the garage and the next morning the battery was dead. It had to be trailered back to the dealership. They put a battery charger on it overnight We were told they couldn鈥檛 find anything wrong and that 99% of the time this happens it鈥檚 user error. We got it home and the next morning it was dead again. It had to be trailered a second time back to the dealership (approx. 45 miles). They had the car over a week. Multiple technicians, including a technician brought in by the company, tried to figure out the problem. Unfortunately, they did not. We were told there was something that was causing the computer to continue running after the car was shut off but they couldn鈥檛 figure out what was causing it. They finally took the battery out and put it back in and the car kept a charge after that. Concerning that we have a vehicle that the battery can be drained, at no fault of ours, and could possibly leave us stranded. The controls on the dash are also not well placed or easy to use. Overall, I鈥檓 so disappointed in this car.
