Almost Perfect Car

Car drives like a magic carpet - smooth, powerful, QUIET, beautiful. There may be a more perfect car out there but not for the money. I traded a BMW which I loved for this because the road noise was just overwhelming. This car is so smooth and quiet, and stylish. Very happy!

Impressive, good looking, luxurious and easy to live with

I initially fell for the looks of this SUV, both external and especially the interior. I have the Mauna red and I love the color. But more than that, I purchased this because I had previously owned a Hyundai Genesis for 10 years and I really liked the dependability of that vehicle and trusted it would be even better with this car. Also the warranty is so persuasive as a comfort mechanism. The vehicle is easy to live with on a daily basis but when in Sport mode, it moves really briskly. And it has just about every tech item currently available - both safety which was very important to me but also convenience tech which is fun to use. Of course it's not perfect, for example I wish the trunk area had a lower load deck but I am very happy it has a real spare tire, the wheels I have are difficult to clean but look really good, the lane keep assist beeps at me a lot as it doesn't agree with the way I drive. But, overall, I would say i am very positive about this vehicle.

Sporty and Fun

I didn't start car shopping with the Genesis in mind. We wanted to purchase a luxury-line vehicle and drove Lexus and Infiniti. However, we couldn't purchase those vehicles in our city so we began to look at Genesis. I love the style and look of my new GV70. I get lots of compliments. I feel very safe in the car. It is not the most comfortable car I've ever owned but it is quiet enough and has great get-up-and-go which I love. The things I don't love: the navigation system, firm seats, having to wait 3 seconds for the automatic liftgate to start lifting, the very obvious shudder when shutting down at intersections, and the MyGenesis app is un acceptable. I've had the car for 3 months and it still hasn't updated on the app - it still says I have 89 miles and over 1/2 tank of gas. So I can't use the phone features (remote start, lock, etc.) even though our account is set up and active. This is frustrating. Overall I'm happy with my purchase of the super stylish GV70.

A great value for the cost. Fun to drive, quiet and comfortable! Great seats with lots of fine adjustments. Stereo has great sound. My only complaint is the lack of unlock button on back doors. The key fob is also not as sensitive as I'd like. It sometimes isn't powerful enough to unlock the doors when in my purse.

Issues with service

Vehicle itself is good. I replaced an Audi SQ5, this feels like a step down in performance, but features and price are better. Service has really been my only issue. With no local dealership I have to travel over 4 hours, which is fine, but I can’t get an appointment for over 6 months no matter the issue. I have a recall and water getting into my headlights… 9 month wait for an appointment.

Love my new Genesis

Absolutely love my new Genesis GV70. Only a couple months into ownership, but very happy. Ride is smooth, interior is amazing, engine is powerful and overall very satisfied. Only wish was that the car had wireless carplay...in 2023 that should be standard. Wired connection works fine, but wireless would be better.

Beautiful vehicle, dealership was full of lies and I will not purchased anything else from Napleton Genesis dealership. The lies and the refusal to honor what the sole me with the concierge service has really upset me. I tried to reach the corporate office but they gave me a wrong email. Poor customer service.

Poor fuel mileage

Fuel mileage not as well as advertised, lots of electrical glitches, feels like it wanders on the road, underpowered for the fuel mileage it gets, it looks great, ride well, I get compliments everywhere I Go!! It would be best if they had Genesis dealers closer!

2023 GV70 Adanced Trim - Feedback

It is a very elegantly designed car with many rookie product management mistakes. I have listed them throughout the survey feedback. Fun to drive and has many great features but falls short of what I would call the ultimate luxury car. Many short comings are simple changes and should not be big cost to the manufacturer.

Truly an excellent vehicle - Needs some newer tech.

This is probably the most remarkable vehicle I have driven, the 3.5T makes this an incredible machine to drive. The blend of comfort, luxury and performance is nigh unbeatable, at the price point it is unbeatable. So fare I love my GV70. I do have some small gripes though when it comes to tech: 1. No wireless carplay.... I mean come on Genesis, you can get this in a ford work truck (I know I have two in my fleet). 2. No bass...the acoustic quality is overall amazing, next to no sound distortion, but this lacks the fullness of audio experience you get in a Lexus with a higher end ML sound system. 3. No USBC's anywhere, and only 1 USB that accepts data. This means you have to switch devices and are stuck listening to and using one device at a time. If you need carplay for maps, you can't listen to audio from a thumb drive or another device.

It is awesome! Love everything about it! The car picks up speed very quickly and the safety features are great! The look of the vehicle is very sleek looking and I am constantly receiving compliments on the vehicle. The interior is nice and the sunroof adds the perfect touch! Definitely would recommend the GV70 to anyone!

Still a Fan One Year on

I love my GV70 One of the best Values out there.

I love the over-all design of the car and the performance of the car is surprisingly good. 375HP and all-wheel drive make the car quick and very enjoyable to drive. I was not a fan of trips with my Jeep but I truly enjoy driving this car. The styling of the car is what caught my attention first. It resembles the Bentley SUV a great deal, which is not a bad thing. I have owned the car for 4 months and I would buy the car again. My wife has a GV80 and she came out of Escalade and she loves her car and would purchase it again. She has owned her car for a year.

My GV70

Vehicle is very nice. Comfortable and quiet inside. Love the interior styling. Exterior is unique. It rides a little bit rough over broken pavement, but it is an SUV, so I would expect some of that. Lane assist and adaptive speed control are very nice, although I have had a couple of issues with it being inconsistent. Most of the electronic controls are well thought out, although probably my biggest pet peeve is the turn signal noise being a bit loud and obtrusive. The fingerprint sensor is OK, but a bit awkwardly placed and does not read consistently. Could perhaps be larger to capture more of the fingerprint (think old Apple Iphone sensor). Otherwise, the controls are generally well thought out and easy to use. I wist the infotainment display would default back to the last screen used rather than having to push the mouse button to exit the home screen each time you start the car.

Eye turning vehicle

Enjoy everything about this vehicle, except for road vibrations. Every bump, pothole, and crack in road is transmitted to driver and passengers. Not a comfortable ride unless on a smooth macadam road. An expensive luxury vehicle should have a more cushiony ride. Tire size may be the problem, since vehicle is equipped with 19" tires. Great safety and creature comfort features.
