Great vehicle

I replaced my Avalon with this vehicle, my first SUV. I’m really enjoying driving my Genesis GV 70 and all the great features it has to offer. It is very stylish, and has a great navigation system. I also really like the back up camera and automatic parking brake.

Dealer Problem

Overall is excellent but icoms on drivers steering wheel very confusing. Too many duplicate controls. Seating could be more comfortable. Rear shade in trunk should be easily removable. No explanation on how it can be done in Manuel. Drive selector is not easy to turn

What a vehicle!

The Genesis GV 70 caught my eye about a year ago. When considering a new vehicle, I shopped Mercedes Benz GLC 300 Coupe, BMW X4, and the GV 70. The GV 70 was by far the prettiest of the three, performed better than the M/B or BMW, and was a far better value. I made the right decision by buying the GV 70. You will too.

I have been a GM SUV owner. Over the years I have owned 8 from the Blazer era through the Trailblazer era and 4 Equinoxes (Premier trim). I have always been very happy with these but decided to look into the luxury SUV options. I seems that there are many BMWs, Audis and Lexus products on the road and I am sure they are all very nice. When researching my options, Genesis wasn't even on my radar since their entry into the SUV product line is relatively new but I decided to take a look. The GV70 was the right size for us. I am generally reluctant to buy into a new line of product that has not had maturity but I really liked the GV70 story and decided to take a closer look/test drive. The GV70 was very nice and won the contest for me. While the Genesis network is relatively scarce in my geography, the ownership story, warranty, service story and value closed the deal. I have some nits about the vehicle and one disappointment I hope I can resolve with customer service but overall very happy with the GV70 and looking forward to a long relationship.

Best compact SUV for the money

I have been driving this vehicle for 7 months and have over 13,000 KM on it. Went with the 2.5T Prestige in burgundy with suede seats. It is the first New car I have owned though I am nearing retirement age. This is a great value and definitely the nicest I have ever owned. My only concern is that there have been a few problems already. The rear differential started making noise at only 1,200 KM and needed to be replaced. This was done about a month later and has not reoccurred. Someone hit the front corner and did what looked like minimal damage but repair costs were $12,000! The headlight is $5,000! Won't look good on the carfax report. The steering gets very heavy when it is cold so they are replacing the rack. The transmission is having issues as it will not shift up and down in town or on the highway without playing a bit with the accelerator. That will be looked at tomorrow but I have spent so much time fixing things after only 7 months, I hope this doesn't continue! Rear end and transmission problems are extremely common with these vehicles on the forums. The service has been excellent so I haven't given up yet but I'm tired.

Couldn't be happier with my GV70.

I've had this vehicle for over a month now, and I can't think of a single negative thing to say about it. In every department, it has far exceeded my expectations. Elegant design both on the exterior as well as in the interior, comfortable yet sporty ride, quiet cabin, the build quality is top notch. I've had so many compliments by people on the street. Genesis is killing it with their vehicles!

GENESIS OF NORTH CHARLESTON AND SAL IMBRUGLIA ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST. HOWEVER WHEN GENESIS GOES FULL ELECTRIC I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GENESIS. IT'S BOGUS COMMITMENT TO CLIMATE CHANGE IS ABSURD. THE FOSSIL FUELS USED TO BUILD, CHARGE, MINE ETC. ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN A SIMPLE MILD HYBRID OR TRUE HYBRID.

2023 GV70 2.5t Sport Prestige

We have had my wife's 2023 GV70 2.5t Sport Prestige for about one month. The styling is exceptional and stands out from all other vehicles. The seats are extremely comfortable, the cooling and stretch features are especially nice. Acceleration is more than adequate with the 4 cylinder engine and handling is better than our previous Audi Q5 and Q7's. I'm interested to see if the reliability will be on par with our previous SUVs.

Excellent choice in vehicles. All I hoped for and more. I looked at Vehicle for almost two years before purchasing. It is a beautiful SUV that turns heads and is a joy to drive. It is also comfortable for long range travel. Fuel economy is mediocre, so range is less than prior BMW X3. Too soon to speak to reliability,
