Always in the shop
Although I was warned not to get a Ford, we needed the largest vehicle to utilize in our business to simply transport light weight equipment. From the get go, we’ve had perpetual problems, recalls and the dealership in Glendora takes sometimes up to a month to get back the vehicle due to backordered parts and perpetual delays from ford.
Also, never never never never get the extended warranty because it’s filled with gaps and holes so as an example, only part of a catalytic converter would be covered but you would be left to cover the extra charges which got up to thousands. Also, speaking to Ford customer service and what not simply earmarks your concerns in the computer but doesn’t really do anything to help you out financially or to be able to assist you even further with the constant issues
At this point, we have a small fleet of Nissan NV 2500 over100,000 miles and still run like new with nothing less than an oil change and basic maintenance. If you need a large vehicle that’s extra extended, consider doing your research on a Mercedes Sprinter like we are doing. If Nissan made an extended high-rise, we would buy two more.
