So far so good!
Only had our 2013 SEL for 4 days. Bought with 46k mi. Pre-purchase inspection scan turned up an electronic door “code” that dealer agreed to fix as this issue was out of warranty.
Main critique of 2013 C-Max is the less than advertised fuel efficiency that comes in closer to 41 than the orginally advertised 47mpg.
Also, there have been recalls for such important safety features as child door locks and alarms when doors are open and vehicle is operational.
So, other than these buggy door and MPG issues we are happy with our car. However, tall drivers over 6’3 may want to be sure they have enough leg room before buying.
