Great performance without nightmare maintenance costs.
Daily driver, non-Z51 Stingray, manual, base interior. So easy to drive, great power, easy shifting, suspension is not bone jarring. I have had E90 M3 and MB AMG C63S. While those are nice cars, I could not justify the basic maintenance ( who knew that brake rotors needed to cost $1K each !?!). At the time, I had to have 4 door car.
Corvette has great reliability so far. Regular maintenance is low cost, parts are low cost. You can actually do most maintenance yourself if you want to. Interior is much better than C5 Vette, but maybe not yet to the level of BMW, MB, or Porsche. That is OK, save the money for other goodies. Base seats hold you much better than C5 seats, but may not as comfortable for larger folks. Rear storage is really good. If you use it as grocery getter, large cargo divider is recommended to keep things from sliding around. And Insurance cost is low.
