I Love My Chevy
My bought my 1998 Chevy Blazer in 2011, so it was pretty used but I wanted a Chevy Blazer for a long time that I could afford. I don't know the history of the vehicle. Right now, it is in very bad shape. It looks very clean and shiny on the outside, but the motor is shot. There's rust in the motor due to the radiator having a water leak and no idea how long that was going on. I was never informed until most recently when I went to a local small business mechanic for the first time in about 6 years after going to those franchised big box mechanic shops. If I had been informed about these issues years ago, maybe I would be driving this vehicle into the sunset but now I have to look for another vehicle. It's no longer safe to drive - but I'm driving it. The A/C and heater doesn't work. Hasn't for years. The seat covers are a wreck, the sunroof is stuck, the rubber seal around the door is worn so rainwater leaks in. The CD player is shot. The suspension is wonky, the oil pan is cracked and the shocks are blown. Yeah, it's bad but I still love it. I want another one but without all those problems :)
