I purchased the most expensive cover option specifically because it was advertised with a Lifetime Warranty. At the time of purchase, there was no mention of the kind of replacement costs and restrictions they are trying to impose now. The Lifetime Warranty was a major reason why I chose this product and paid the premium price.
The reality is that this cover is extremely poor quality. Mine started falling apart within about 9 to 12 months of normal use. The fabric tore in multiple places and eventually the cover was literally coming apart in pieces.
When I filed my warranty claim, I provided every photo and every piece of information they requested. The damage was obvious. The cover was completely deteriorated.
They replaced it once, but now they want me to pay approximately $150 for another replacement. The problem is that the same cover can be purchased for around $180 with discounts. Charging $150 under a “Lifetime Warranty” is ridiculous and defeats the entire purpose of having a warranty in the first place.
What makes this even worse is the amount of time, back-and-forth emails, and runaround involved in the process. Instead of standing behind their product, they make customers jump through hoops only to offer a replacement that costs almost as much as buying a new cover.
In my experience, this cover does not last, the warranty is misleading, and the customer service has been extremely disappointing.
I would never purchase this product again and would strongly recommend that potential buyers look elsewhere
