Do not recommend car purchase
My buying experience was great. Chris Meija was my salesperson and very nice > however, he and consequently Roger Beasley Hyundai did not submit my Title/Plate registration to the tax office till 14 Mar ( I bought car on 14 Jan!) and although the application was approved on 18 Mar in Webdealer system, neither Roger Beasley Hyundai nor Steel Hyundai (new business that took over during this time would help me and gave me the run around trying to get a replacement temp tag or info regarding my plates. Roger Beasley car dealer never answered any of my email inquires and were unprofessional with zero integrity dealing with this matter. Finally got Roger Beasley Mazda South to confirm my plates and they have just now sent me my plates/sticker/registration scheduled for delivery to me on 24 Mar. Not only have I filed a complaint with TX DMV against Roger Beasley but I also cannot in good conscience recommend to my EMS colleagues or veteran buddies buying a car with any Roger Beasley or Steel Hyundai businesses.

Would not recommend
Worst experience I have ever had at any dealership. Uncommunicative staff with bad attitudes. My vehicle was in the shop for almost 30 days for a diagnosis. Drove my vehicle off the lot and started having severe engine issues that never existed with my vehicle prior to taking it here (misfires on every cylinder).

Recall Service Appointment - steering issue
My appointment was set for 930AM. My check in by the service rep, Valarie, was prompt, courteous and I was told it would take 2 to 2 1/2 hours to fix which seemed reasonable. They agreed it was a no charge recall maintenance fix. The waiting room was spacious and comfortable with coffee and snacks with WIFI for my laptop. I received texts from my rep during my wait explaining how things were going including the process and results of a multi-point vehicle check up. I did not have time to do those items on this visit but really appreciate knowing about the issues they reported.

Overall an A-
I received good service for a steering recall issue which was performed at no charge. The free-multi-point inspection turned up a number of recommended items (~$800.00) which I chose not to do at this visit. I would have given them an A rating except that they missed a burned out brake light in the inspection. I got stopped on the way home. I received a warning ticket. The sheriff and I had a laugh when I showed him the $800 recommended list of items which missed one of the most common safety things to check. Sometimes it’s the little things that bite you.

Check Engine light came on 2 days after purchase
I purchased a used car here in mid December. 2 days after driving it off the lot, the check engine light came on and it was discovered that both bank one and bank two catalytic converters were failing, resulting in a repair cost at 3,600. This has been an unpleasant, frustrating, and expensive experience. I would recommend looking for your next car elsewhere.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you have had with your vehicle. The vehicle you purchased was one of our CHOICE vehicles, meaning it is sold as-is with no warranty. In order to cater to all of our customers' needs, we offer customers the opportunity to to purchase these used vehicles for a limited time prior to sale at auction. We try to make it as clear as possible to customers that these vehicles are being sold as-is and that we are not responsible for any issues it might have, which is why we require you to sign both the TX Department of Motor Vehicle "AS-IS" vehicle disclosure document along with our own CHOICE vehicle disclosure document beforehand. We also welcome and encourage you to have an independent mechanic look at the vehicle first.

Suspension/Steering Noise
There was a slight grinding noise when my wife drove her vehicle. Additionally, when turning steering wheel hard right, there was a loud squeal from the front suspension. This dealership resolved both issues and had vehicle ready earlier than expected.

Unscheduled Warranty work
Even though we had a scheduled oil change, the dealership did not charge us for a flat repair and they looked into a door lock mechanism issue. We understand they were short handed at the time but Roger Beasley had always been very professional to us.

Waited a while
The reserved time for a oil change, flat repair and driver's side lock intermittent issue took three hours. In the past oil change may have taken 45 minutes at the most. I am not sure if they were short on mechanics or if my information was just entered late. There were two other people waiting that had fell asleep waiting.

Wal-Mart does it better.
Takes way too much advance notice to get a simple oil change; 10days to 6weeks. Takes too much time to perform oil change and tire rotation; in excess of an hour. And they didn't even vacuum the front floor or clean the windshield.

The service team was right on time for my appointment and took exactly the amount of time to do the work that they predicted. They explained what they were doing, inspected the car and made recommendations for additional maintenance needed. They are always very pleasant and friendly and good to do business with.

My first oil change and inspection
If I tell you that the back tire is loosing air and the indicator is on than you should have notice that a screw was in the tire and needed repair. Make me think that they didn’t even rotate the tires. This creates mistrust

Your people are your best asset
I had a issue with my headlights, contacted their service department 2 days before xmas, they were booked thru the holidays. But theit service advisor Rene Burillo told me to come in. He personally worked on my 2014 Tucson along with Nich Arch in parts. Fixed my issue, and said their was no charge since i had recently purchased the vehicle. As a manager at a large corporation, John Deere, your people seperate you from the competition, Nich and Rene have that talent...A+ Dave Christianson
