They lost my car during service and when I got mad I was told to not come back
I scheduled a service and was having a tire fixed while they were being rotated so I thought.....well I arrive check in and wait I wait some more and 2 hours later they tell me my car is ready I pay and they bring a car around its not my car not even the same color look around they point at another car still not my car they have lost my car its not in the service area the service manager is not at all bothered with it is talking about calling the police because I am irate I did it for them because my car is gone. When I get 911 on the phone to report my car being stolen then they decided yo look for my car they find in the detail shop my car was not suppose to be detailed now mind you this whole time the service manager is acting like I'm the one with the problem never apologized or acted like he was the least bit bothered by any of it so.... when I get ready to leave finally I asked him if we are done he tells me not to come back. I start home my tire pressure light comes back on on the tire they said they checked and it was fine on the same side and place it was on remember my tires were supposedly rotated. I get home pop the hood there was oil poured in because they spilled it all over and did not even try to clean it up. I bought this car in April brand new paid cash off this lot. I can't even get the service I was promised. I will never buy another car from here again and they don't have to worry about me coming back. And by the way the next day I had to buy a new tire , AND HAVE MY CAR SERVICED.

No oil after an oil change
This place is a joke
My mom took her suv in for an oil change no big deal right
Can't just do a simple oil change, had to talk her into spending over $200, ok fine take advantage of an old disabled woman
But then they sent her on her way with NO freaking oil
She went back they put oil in and half a tank of gas sent her on her way no harm no foul
WELL BS what kind of internal damage is done to that engine running with no oil for 20 min

Never again!!!!!
First off you will see me writing in all caps in some sentences.
These people gets a zero on this review.
Ok let’s go!!!
1: we brought our 2003 Hyundai in for service. This is a sentimental SUV for both me and my partner. We had recently took the Hyundai to another mechanic in my area. They did as much stuff as they could do on it and still wasn’t 100% sooooo against our better judgment took it to the Hyundai dealership hoping since they were a dealership specializing in Hyundais. So things started off good the gentleman that “checked” it in was very nice and helpful. So let’s give him a 6 on his customer service. So we left it there and as anyone would,we ask for a call back to tell us what we were looking at on the price of repair. So a week rolled by and we hadn’t heard from then so a call was placed to check on the progress we were told that they hadn’t started on it because we had to purchase all the parts for it up front. WHICH ONCE AGAIN NO!!! PHONE CALL to let us know that. Be curious as to how long it would have taken before anyone called us to let us know about us having to purchase the parts upfront.
So after paying for the parts we waited another week or so. AGAIN WE HAD TO REACH OUT TO THEM FOR AN UPDATE. The call was placed and we talked to Sam who was our point of contact. Sam told us that he “wasn’t sure on the progress being made on the vehicle and he would contact the mechanic who was working on it and have him to give us a call back. AGAIN WE DID NOT hear from him.
So we waited again for almost a week and called back. We now had a different point of contact who told us Sam was no longer working for them. Hmmmm wonder if he got tired of the crap and left. So this new guy said that the parts had arrived the previous Friday and again he would contact the mechanic and have him to call us back. AGAIN NO PHONE CALL!!!! Our point of contact guy said that we were told it would take after parts arrived 19 hours to have it fixed. Ok 19 hours isn’t to bad I guess. So another few days another call was placed by my partner and he insisted on talking to the manager of the service department. She told him that she would be the new point of contact and she would GIVE US A CALL BACK AT THE END OF THE WORK DAY for an update. GUESS WHAT NO PHONE CALL.
Another call was placed by me on May 26 to once again try and find out how everything was going. I reached a lady and told her I needed to talk with someone on the status of the vehicle. She ask who we had as a point of contact. REALLY?? You can’t look on the chart and see who was working with us now??? So after telling her our point of contact she put me on hold to try and reach her. She later came back on the line and said she could not reach the manager who was supposed to be working with us now and ask if I wanted to leave a message on her voice mail. That was it I lost it. I told her ABSOLUTELY NOT I WILL STAY ON THIS LINE UNTIL YOU CAN REACH HER OR SOMEONE WHO COULD HELP ME. She had me on hold for at least 30 minutes coming back to the phone just to tell me she was still trying to get ahold of someone who could give me an update. Each time she came back on she kept asking me if I wanted to leave a message. AGAIN I SAID NO I WOULD WAIT ON THE LINE AND I WANTED THE UPDATE TODAY!!!! So this went on for some time. The last thing I heard from her is when she came back on the line and told me she was trying to reach Jake the manager of the dealership I guess. After being on hold for another 5-10 minutes, after telling the lady I WOULD WAIT ON THE LINE TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE The music stopped and the next thing I knew I was put through to Jake’s voice mail. I left a message and told him I WANT AN ANSWER ON THE PROGRESS OF THE VEHICLE AND I WOULD EXPECT A CALL ON TUESDAY BEING MONDAY WAS A HOLIDAY. Here it is Wednesday and have heard nothing from any of them. ALL WE WANT TO KNOW IS THE PROGRESS ON THE VEHICLE!!!! Let us know what’s going on with it. So after almost a month WE HAVE HAD NO ONE TO TRY AND REACH OUT TO US!!!!
I don’t usually leave reviews unless they are good ones. If someone has gone out of their way to help me I believe you give credit where credit is due. If I’ve had a bad experience someone I just chalk it up to them having a bad day. There’s no chalking this one up to someone having a bad day. If they would have only kept us in the loop on what was going on with the vehicle this review WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN DONE.
So the moral of the story is this… If you’re needing your vehicle worked on and expecting good customer service DO NOT TAKE IT TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND EXPECT ANYONE TO HELP YOU.

Terrible Sales Experience
Zero star experience. Here are the bullet points:
1. Called to ask if I could test drive a car on Monday morning. Set up appointment for 4:00. Arrived at 4:00, Sorry the car is not here, an employee had taken the car to West Plains - but it would be back around 5:30. Ok, I will come back.
2. Come back after six. Car is there. Test drive it, love the car. Buying the car for my son. Start the process, dealership can't match my banks interest rate. My bank can start the process on Tuesday, I ask can I put money down and secure the car? Yes you can they say. I put 3,000 down and sign some paperwork. As I leave, I have a bad feeling and I say - is the car mine or do I need to come back Tuesday and check on it - no, the car is sold to you - Ok thanks.
3. Tuesday, my bank has a terrible time trying to get ahold of somebody to get info.
4. Wednesday - bank gets a hold of finance - does not start the transfer of funds because it was in the afternoon they finally talked to somebody, the next day is Thanksgiving, so we will complete everything Friday.
5. My wife and I get ready to go to the dealership Friday morning. I get a message to call the manager. The manager says, I am so sorry, but we accidentally sold the car - big miscommunication. I said that is not possible, we have a deposit and signed paperwork. They say the other person involved had already transferred the money and singed "The legal documents" there is nothing they can do. They offer to make it right.
6. We go to the dealership. I am upset, talk to the other manager, who immediately says he thought I would come back Tuesday and now its Friday. He later apologizes for the remark. However, he has basically just said what I feared, the car was mine unless somebody makes a better offer. So, I was lied to.
7. We test drive another car, but they really don't have anything we like. They apologize again, we leave.
8. This was on Friday. IF they really want to make it right, you would think they would contact us again, check to see if there was anything they can do. They have not. We put a lot of time and effort to find this car. Loan rates changed - it cost us a full percentage point on the loan. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. Now we are having to go through this whole process again. I should have know after reading some of the reviews. Good luck dealing with dishonest people. I hope it was worth the few thousand dollars.

Wrong car!
I had my Elantra towed here because it died on Monday. Travis got a hold of me Tuesday. He said they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. He kept in contact through Wednesday and said we could pick it up on Thursday. Well, woke up Thursday to a call from the service department and guess what, they had been looking at the WRONG CAR!!! My car has to have a new engine. The car they were reporting to me wasn't even mine. Do you not look at license plates or check the vin numbers? Needless to say I wasn't happy

Rotten service at Reliable Hyundai of Springfield
This company treats women like they are stupid. I kept bringing my car back to get the same results. “Can’t find the problem “. Over 2 years. They believed my partner Jim when he picked it up and it was still jumping from 1st to 2nd. Said “you need a new transmission “. Kept my car. Gave away the first one scheduled for me. I know this because of the text I received with instructions to pick it up on Friday. Got there on Friday. They said they never sent it. I still have the text. Weeks later and about 900.00 in rental charges I called to check on my car. I had gone over a month and a have not hearing anything. I got Oh yes it just arrived and will be done tomorrow afternoon. Over 2months they had my car. I could have still drive it like I had been doing for the last couple of years. Seriously inconsiderate and inconvenient . Never will I return to Reliable Hyundai of Springfield.

Warranty work was acceptable but quality of service was not
Motor had gone bad under the federal law to replace the entire motor. Took 3 months to complete which I know parts are limited. When I got the vehicle back I experienced a new problem. Dealership wanted to charge me $650 to fix it in which the part wasn’t actually bad. When picking the vehicle up, they were going to charge me $180 for diagnosis which nothing was said to me about.

coupon confusion
we received a coupon in the mail from Hyundai saying it was redeemable for a free: oil change, tire rotation, windshield wiper blade replacement, and cabin filter replacement. When we got to the dealer for our appointment the service guy said “oh no, even though the coupon says it’s redeemable for all of that, it’s actually only good for an oil change”. Not a good way to earn business.

This is a joke right?
Prior to my issues, I talked very highly about Hyundai. The current issues I am having has made me change my mind completely. I am very unhappy with my purchase at this time due to these issues and the fact that no body seems to be able to give me an answer of what is wrong. I feel like my concerns have been dismissed as I have videoed the issue and still told they cannot replicate it. The only reason any future maintenence will be completed here is so I do not void my warranty.
