Service under warranty
I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change and tire rotation under the current warranty. The maintenance light came on and today it stated that it needed service in 93 miles. I arrived 15 minutes early, and was told it would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours. The oil change is supposed to be done every 5,700 miles and no later or it voids the warranty. The employee tried to get me to sign a paper stating that I would not bring the car in again until it was driven 9,000 miles. I told her I would not agree to that. She said she would note that I refused to sign the paperwork. Then, while I was waiting for my ride she called and asked if I was still there because the manager told her I needed to initial a paper regarding scratches or dings on the car. I said okay and that I would meet her at the car. She approached me and said the marks could be just dirt, she didn’t know. When I looked at the paperwork, it was the document that stated I wouldn’t bring the car in for 9,000 miles. I believe she was trying to trick me into signing paperwork that could void the warranty. I acknowledged the paperwork and she denied it! I ended up leaving the dealership, not getting the oil changed, and not signing the paperwork. I will never go there again ! They are not trustworthy !
