My love of fixing motorized vehicles began in my grandparents' backyard, with sand rails and dirt bikes. My grandpa, dad, and uncles would have us get tools for them while they were fixing whatever it was they'd broken in the desert. In high school, we all had hot rods and were always tinkering with them. When I was 18, I got a job at a quick lube shop, and the love affair continued. Since then, I have worked in many shops doing everything from oil changes to transmissions, to management.
Somewhere along the way, alcohol took control of my life and I lost everything I had. In 2013 I was 35, and I was a lost soul. I found myself completely broken, unemployable, and sleeping at a homeless shelter. I lost everything and everyone that ever meant anything to me. Sadly, I had reached a point where I just wanted to die. Fortunately, in April of 2014, I decided to surrender and ask for help. Through the help of some incredible people, I was able to piece my life back together.
I began to live my life with honesty, integrity, and service to my fellow men and women. Through this process of being brutally honest with myself, I became a person who always strives to help others, and to serve my community with dignity and grace.
I chose the name Phoenix Auto Repair to represent the mythical Phoenix rising from the ashes, and to represent new beginnings.
I know that entrusting your vehicle to someone is a big decision. I will always do my absolute best to ensure you are pleased with your choice to allow us to serve you.
