When I called to check on the status, however, the completion date was pushed back by several days. I called again, and the date was pushed back again. This happened a total of four times. The repeated delays were extremely inconvenient, especially since I was relying on a rental car and had to continually change my plans because I don’t live in the area.
Unfortunately, the experience did not improve when I finally picked up the car. I noticed that one of the damaged areas had still not been properly addressed and remained scratched. There was also a significant amount of dirt left in the trunk, and a plastic piece underneath the car was detached.
I picked up the car on a Friday, and because the shop is closed over the weekend, I had to wait until Monday to contact them about these issues. Overall, the repeated delays, lack of communication regarding the changing completion dates, and issues I discovered after pickup made this a very frustrating and inconvenient experience. I expected the repairs to be completed properly and the car to be returned in a clean, finished condition.
