Awful place
So let's do this Lilly's Auto I really have no idea where to begin, but let's start with a couple months ago my motor seized on my way home from work Rodger (owner) who I thought was kind and understanding sent out a tow truck and said he would take care of the motor and the labor for $2,300 a couple weeks go by and I start to wonder if there's any progress on my car so I called him up to find out that he cannot find a motor so I go out of my way and start looking I find one almost immediately 10 mins tops I go take out a loan and go purchase this motor for 1,000$ Roger sends somebody down to get the motor about three or four weeks go by and they finally have swapped the motors out they send me a video of the motor knocking and told me it is junk I take the motor back to the manager at the scrap yard and he issues me a refund so I then go to Rock City Auto in Rockford and get another motor this time for $1,200 and get it delivered to their shop, they delivered finally just for me to get a call saying that it's missing a bunch of pieces so I coordinate with Rock City Auto and they get all the missing pieces from what I understand. Couple more weeks goes by my motor still not in my car I'm not understanding what's going on I am calling almost on a daily basis, finally me and my mother got sick of calling they would just make their excuses and lie about everything and anything they finally tell us that they are unable to put in the motor because their employees do not have experience in that area and they are too backed up so I proceed to have it taken to a different shop at this new shop I realize that my car is now just a shell, the owner took my transmission to his house and refuses to return it to me after he claims his employee broke it or provide a refund The shop I currently have the car at is still making a list of all the parts that are missing off the motor including a part I just bought a couple weeks ago and still have a receipt for from the dealership. He will not give me the parts. Please for the love of God don't take your car here this is the worst experience I've ever had they completely took advantage of me they were hoping I would be stupid and scrap my vehicle after the first motor swap. They've had my car since October 5th of 2021 and it still does not move. It's is just a shell they stripped it of all the parts I bought before bringing it to his shop and made it impossible to fix after taking it out. Rodger is a liar and very sneaky likes to blame his employees for the lack of things getting done.

Great job on brakes
Rodger fixed our rear brakes fast and at a fair price. I would use his shop again. Very trustworthy.

Oil leak
Roger was great had a oil leak he would not stop till he found it and did some stuff at no charge I have been ripped off at several shops here in town but have no worries at Lilly's thanks again roger and staff I will be back count on it

Taking Good Care
Roger has taken care of several repairs in the last couple of weeks that could have led to accidents, serious problems, and at the very least, cancelled appointments and hours by the roadside. I'm very pleased with his work, his care, and his persistence to detect & repair. I would most certainly recommend Lilly Auto Care Center.

Best Auto Repair shop
I've taken a couple of my cars to Lilly Auto and have always been pleased with the service. Roger charges fair prices and I can always count on him to do the job. I won't go anywhere else except Lilly's.

Major car trouble and referred to Lilly Auto Care Center
I had car trouble December 30th 2018 and was told by AutoZone to go to Lilly Auto Care Center in Janesville. I explained my situation and told him that I'm not from here and don't know which business that would be the best to address my auto troubles. When I got to Lilly's Auto Care I spoke with Rodger. He told me to come back on January 2nd when they were open since they were closing for the day and he would look at it first thing at 8 a.m. on the 2nd of January. I showed up and he looked at my vehicle and put it on the scanner / computer and told me that it looks like it would possibly be the catalytic converter. He stated to me that he doesn't specialize in that and he sent me to another business here in Janesville that could help me. He he was more than professional and prompt with his service and didn't charge me an initial fee and wouldn't take any money, and he referred me to another business they had me in and out within 25 minutes. On a scale from 1 to 5? He's rated a 7 in my book. When I went to the other shop, that was the problem that I had that he diagnosed correctly. Lilly's Auto Care is very prompt efficient and professional with their services.

Major car trouble and referred to Lilly Auto Care Center
I had a major problem with my car on December 30th 2018. It kept dying on the interstate and I had no idea what the problem was. I went to AutoZone and they referred me to Lilly Auto Care Center. I'm not from Janesville, and wanted to get my issues addressed ASAP. I was told to come in Wednesday the 2nd of January 2019, at 8 a.m. and they would look at it then since they were closing for the day on the 30th. I return on January 2nd at 8 a.m., and they looked at my car, and put it on the scanner / computer, and told me it sounds like it's my catalytic converter. They referred me to someone else since they don't specialize in replacing catalytic converters or mufflers. I was really surprised to see how honest Rogar Lilly was. It was the first time I've ever met him, and he show nothing but the utmost respect, very professional. I've never met anybody more honest. I I went to the business he referred me to and was taken care of within 25 minutes. It was my catalytic converter and Rodger was 100% correct. On a scale 1 to 5 I'd rate Lilly Auto Care Center a 7 ,and the young man that worked with him in his shop as well. I didn't catch his name though. I did call him back and thanked him and told him how grateful I was to have been introduced to someone of his stature. He never charged me anything at all and he referred me to another business. If you have car trouble? This is the place to take it to , hands down.

BEST AROUND!! BAR NONE!!
Easy to work with, very detailed and a warm fuzzy atmosphere. Father and son duo that have made my automotive/repair experience the most hassle free and even fun to work with. 5 STAR for sure.
