Multiple quotes have come back with required hours and parts cost doubled or more when compared against official manufacturer dealership service guides (as well as Alldata / Mitchell real-time parts and labor estimators).
Most recent quote ~$7000: all work plus two major and one minor additional jobs using premium OEM parts, labor (@$150/hr), and warranty completed by another mechanic today for $1795.04
Just wow - I'm a disabled veteran on a fixed income and Evan just tried to very seriously and very intentionally abuse my trust and finances in the most damaging way possible.
If we add those extra jobs and parts it would have been a $10,000 quote for work Evan very well knew was less than 1/5 his quote.
All parts available for immediate pickup: marked up a minimum of 100% up to 800% over retail shelf price; if we go to Amazon or eBay using the same parts we're talking like 1000% markup for very basic common parts.
No job was quoted for less than double the officially required hours.
If he does this to a friend and customer (disabled veteran) that knew him before he owned property how do you think he's going to treat you?
I've brought him literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of business.
